Good morning.....I received an SOS from a student of mine from northern Ontario whose client has been in process for 10 days. The client has a herniated disk, arthritis in the upper thoracic area, some knee problems, and possibly other conditions. During the session her body began to contort with her arms reaching behind her in order that the fingers can contact the injuried areas. She has been in pain for about 8 years, and recently was referred to a specialist who would undoubtedly want to perform a surgery. This woman is quite concerned about the fact that her body continues to twist and turn and in general reorganize in the most profound and she has to lie on the floor to avoid getting hurt. The energy awakens her early in the morning and continues to work for hours at a time without her being able to have a break. Her husband is quite overwhelmed and she is as well. I've spoken to her and suggested that body intelligence is creating health within her, but that we need to ask the system to slow down. I've done some distance work with her again asking for more time for your to be well. This has not apparently created any change and there is a slow panic beginning to arise from the paractitioner, the client and the client's family.
Can you Alain, or Richard offer any suggestions as to what to do, or do we need to just trust the process. I've had many situations when the energy moves that body this way while I'm working or at a training, and I've had clients tell me that they feel the energy continuing sometimes up to 10 months, however this situation seems to be a bit extreme, but perhaps time is of the essence and this is what has to happen.

I would like a bit more information. What QT method are you using, more basic/SC or Core?

How long do you work on her at a time? If doing more yang are you sending till the energy stops or...?

Till I hear more I would suggest that you think of centering her energy into the lower tan tien if you want this to stop.

Thank you Alain for your fast response. I was not doing the work, it was a student of mine who lives quite far from me. She has had the Basic QT w/s but she also is a Reiki Master. As far as I can determine there was only one session, and it was a long one, perhaps even as long as 3 hours, as she was attempting to have the system slow down, which was not happening. So in answer to your question, she continued working in an attempt to have the energy stop, and it just continued. I have suggested to the client that she ask the energy to slow down, and to attempt to ground herself by bringing the energy into the ground through her feet to disperse some of it.

So,it sounds like were not quite sure what she was doing.

I would still get someone that knows energy work or even Qigong well to center the energy into lower tan tien. That usually stops spontaneous movements such as this.

The other alternative is to add more energy until the blockage is pushed through all the way. The blockage, with energy behind it, is what is causing the spontaneous movement, at least usually. Adding more energy should push it through. If the above suggestion is not available then do more energy work is my suggestion as it should eventually resolve the issue.

If they are concerned about doing more energy work then the only alternative that I know works the majority of the time is to recenter the energy to lower tan tien till it is stable.
