Hi-
About 15 yrs ago I got CFS from a lot of stresses. I have healed a lot of my issues but my diaphragm. When I got ill my diaphragm slipped out of position when the adrenals weakened. I didn't know this until a few yrs ago. A bodywork therapist by email told me that the best way to reset the diaphragm would be to have a therapist manipulate the musculature (which means the diaphragm release points) while surging energy so that the kidney energy pushes through and upward thereby resetting the diaphragm....I believe based on dealing with this issue that she is correct, I need a practitioners help on whether and how QT could possibly do both at the same time. Ideally it would be best to work with a practitioner but my finances are depleted and I need to find another way to do this, Its very debilitating but its also my last big piece to getting well. thanks Sam This message has been edited. Hi, Sam! I went and had a couple SCT treatments done last year, right before I learned about QT. The first thing I noticed from the first treatment, was that when I went to bed that night, I felt that my breathing was MUCH deeper and fuller. I was taking in much more air than previously. Also, I slept for 6 hours straight, instead of the 2 that I'd been sleeping for for the last 30 years or so! I felt like my diaphragm was different, and I called the practitioner and asked if he had done a diaphragm release on me, and he said yes, he had done several of them (I had had a 2 hour treatment--figured if I was going to try it, I'd go all out and give it a good chance).
I don't know if this would help you or not, but it really helped me for my diaphragm. Sometimes now I'll run energy into my diaphragm. I haven't noticed anything from doing that, but I figure it won't hurt, and it may very well help. The CST treatments I got were $60 an hour. Apparently insurance will pay for it sometimes (mine would) if you have gotten a prescription from a doctor for it. My practitioner did not DO insurance forms, so I would have had to do my own. |
