Hello
Has any one had any experience in volunteering in Hospitals, care homes or vets etc using Quantum Touch? I want to get practicing and get my hours up for the practioner status and was wondering if this was a way to go?I am based in the Uk. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I've not actually tried this but what a fantastic idea!

I would suggest going round in person with a some details printed on offering a hands-on relaxation technique with your contact details and availability. I personally wouldn't make any claim for what it can do apart from saying it reduces stress and promotes relaxation and has been known to reduce aches and pains. That way you are not making any promises that you have to live up to and any additional effects will be a bonus! Try to speak to the person in charge and be prepared to offer a demo! I would have thought that care homes would be the easiest place to start, as they are often open to having visitors in.

I don't know about vets and hospitals, don't know what the legal situation would be there.
One thing that might get in your way is insurance. I've got liability insurance through SMG in the UK for life-coaching and EFT, but haven't extended it to QT as yet. I don't know if you need to get the qualification first to get insurance!

However it's always worth asking and offering to people. There's bound to be someone who wants to take up your offer.

The other thing I am going to do to get my practise hours up is to give each of my friends vouchers for QT sessions (with a use-by date) that they can either use themselves or give to someone else they know as a present.

Btw I'm based in Reading which is only 30 mins away by train so if you wanted to hook up for some recipricol practice sessions I'd be up for that. There are a few other people in London and a couple of Healing Circles so hopefully the word will start spreading across the UK.

Thanks for the advice. I had never thought of the idea and then had a dream about it last night! I think you are right about the way to approach people. I don't know about the insurance re vets & hospitals as I wouldn't be charging people,it is something I will look into. The gift vouchers for friends are a great idea. It would be great to get together for some practice sessions and any info you have re healing circles in the London area would be much appreciated. Do you want to send me a private message re exchanging emails etc?
