I've tried several times to recharge my Sonicare's batteries when I've run them down all the way just by a few minutes of QT + intent, but to no avail.
Is there anything different to try so that I may succeed in recharging them? That sure would feel like magic! So far it's just human miracles -- headaches gone bone realignments, relaxation, etc. that are in my experience repertoire with QT. Thanks! Cameron |

Hello, Cameron
Batteries being non-living, unconscious patterns of energy (in my perceptive lens anyway) are a little bit more "involving" when it comes to NOT getting in the way, mentally. Have you tried to take the batteries out, hold them between the palms of your hands and sweep and breathe while watching television, reading, or something else that gets rid of the mental focus ON the batteries? This was how I was able to recharge the batteries in Tahoe. I simply held them for about 10-15 minutes, and carried on my conversation with Moti and Brian during the documentary filming. The absolute last thing I focus on while running energy into the batteries IS the batteries (I know, sounds ridiculous! hahaha) but that's what works for me. Other folks I'm hoping will answer you here about battery recharging are Trane, QJedi, NancyO (herbalpurity), Jeremy (my boyfriend, blueyedragon), and Alfred. I know they've all had success with this technique as well. Wishing you all the best! Ashley Ashley Neff, LMT, QTP Laughing & Living, Loving & Giving |

I did the same as Ashley in Tahoe, but added Jeremy's hands to mine and visualized as many hands on top of ours as I could imagine.... called wombing I believe. I've done it alone that way with my camera batteries too. I would also suggest you try different sets, since I'm not sure when a battery takes it's final breath and cannot be recharged.

Hi Cameron,
I set the intention that the energy will be specifically ideal to recharge the batteries throughout the recharging work, and then just forget about it and start charging ("Just set it and forget it!" as the father of TV marketing sales Ron Popeil says. :> Mirroring Ashley's comments about non-living materials, I tend to focus on just getting the energy from my hands (left and right) to meet in the center of the battery(ies), and then just pay attention to the feelings in my own body. Sometimes I put the image of a analog meter in the back of my mind to let me know when the battery is charged into the "green" or charged area. But it's probably just as well to just run the energy with sweeping and breathing without really thinking about it, as Ashley recommends. For me, the energy has a much coarser, prickly, electrical feeling to it than what comes through for healing living beings, especially when I set the intention as noted above. hi, I found that I also had to take the batteries out and hold them in my hands while breathing and sweeping.

Cameron I took a battery out of a clock at the lake, which sat around all winter, and would no longer run the clock.
I put my hands together, acouple of inches apart, put the positive terminal against my right hand, and the negative against my left palm, and ran energy for 15 minutes. I put the battery back in the clock, and it was still running last fall when we closed the cottage for the winter. Visualize the energy zapping from your palm to the battery, until it gets its full charge. If it doesn,t work on that battery for any reason, try another one. Gord |

Thanks all of you guys for your help & encouragement! One of the things about the Sonicare is that the batteries are enclosed in the base and are not user-replaceable. Therefore I can't touch their terminals directly and will have to rely on imagination if I hope to get results.
One of the most amazing things that I keep hearing is that QT apparently can "charge" batteries that are not "rechargeable!" If it can do that, I don't see why touching the terminals should matter at all except as a focus. Unless since this is new territory there is some different set of principles that apply here that aren't important in hands-on human or other conventionally-thought-of-as-living-thing healing. I'm going to continue to think about how to approach this and will play around with every opportunity I find to demonstrate to myself that I can do this. I wonder if there really is a learnable "science" (or art) to charging batteries in this way? Or will enough more people need to do it first to make it a more easily accessible "reality"? All in fun! I'll report when I have my first clear successes with this. Thanks, all! Cameron |

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I have been trying to charge batteries since I first visited this forum. I believe that I am focusing too much on my intent to charge the batteries. I have been tossing so many batteries from my Wii Remotes, that I really want to be able to charge them myself.

Sometimes its good just to show yourself you can do it, so for that I'd recommend starting with regular batteries first.
Try practicing on regular flashlight batteries: Let the flashlight go totally dead so the flashlight produces no light at all. Then just run energy into the batteries for about 30 minutes. Start the sweeping and breathing until you get a good flow going, and just keep doing it with the batteries cupped in your hands while you watch a sitcom or something (nothing too serious, depressing or otherwise a "downer"). Then pop the batteries back in the flashlight, DON'T TURN IT ON YET, set it to one side, go back to watch ing tv, but continue to sweep and breath with cupped hands with the intention you are still charging the batteries from a distance. After watching another program or listening to a few tracks of your favorite music for another 20 minutes or so while running the energy, go back to your flashlight and see what happens when you turn it on. I agree with all the above posts, plus I've found that it's easier to charge a battery that's only mostly dead (e.g., won't light a flashlight but still registers slightly when I put it on a testing meter) than one that's all dead.
"Mostly dead is slightly alive, but all dead, now with all dead there's only one thing you can do... go through his pockets and look for loose change!" -- Miracle Max (The Princess Bride) Also, if I think about the batteries at all while I'm charging them, nothing happens. I've had the most success when i hold the batteries - one pole on each hand - set the intention to charge them, set the intention to keep sweeping and breathing (not consciously sweeping with each breath), and distract myself with some TV, etc. The more I completely forget about the batteries and the sweep breath, the more successful I seem to be. I've also tried placing an "unan" symbol in the center of the battery, though I can't tell yet if it's making a difference. How about connecting them to a battery charger? That is, if they are rechargeable batteries of course.

When they're "all dead," I focus only enough to work with something like a reverse-type steaming.
I haven't noticed any difference with UNANs as well. But I do know that steaming from Core, but with a reverse directional focus, brings even the most deader-than-a-doornail battery back to full swing for up to another 2.5 hours. THEN, it's sayonara. Interesting that you all agree that focusing on the batteries or on charging them during the QT is somehow detrimental and that instead it works better when you distract yourselves.
Ashley, you talked about how maybe it had something to do with your conception of "dead" versus "alive." Does it sound like the only reason you guys are needing to distract yourselves has something to do with how you think of batteries as non-living? Why else would the don't-focus-on-it approach seem to be so much more effective than what we normally do in creating the space for shifts in energy? I don't really watch TV, so won't be able to try to sitcom idea, Alfred but I'll definitely play with different focuses and lacks thereof. The flashlight battery is a very good idea. A very definite marker: light or no light. Maybe another approach is that I should tell the batteries to "be alive" instead of ignoring them hehehe. I'll let you know my results. Won't be dedicating whole half hours to it, but a few minutes should be enough to find some successes! |

Hello, Cameron
I can only go on what I perceive when I look at the battery's energy signature. It's no different than if I'm looking at a dry chicken bone, a concrete block, or even a penny. There's movement, but very little, amongst the particles compared to that of a tree, a blade of grass, or a human or animal. Hence, why I termed batteries as being made of "non-living" energy. In my experience, there's organic and inorganic energy patterns. Batteries fall into the category of inorganic energy patterns for me. Just what I see, hope that explains it a bit better. I honestly couldn't tell you why it seems to work more efficiently when I don't focus on what I'm doing with the batteries - it's a modern marvel, I suppose! Have fun, let us know if you come up with any other things that seem to work well! Ashley Neff, LMT, QTP Laughing & Living, Loving & Giving |

one more vote for core/steaming or "looking for interesting things" with presence in the core point and only a peripheral awareness of the battery. this worked for me on getting a carburetor to fire in a stalled tractor in the middle of a field, surrounded by fifteen astonished farmers. good thing they don't burn witches in Tucson Arizona nowadays
