Has anyone had success with stroke victims? I had a gentleman in today who suffered from a stroke (right sided) 3 years ago. He's having discomfort in his R arm, mostly pins and needles or feels asleep. I'm unsure of where to start ........

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Forgive me for suggesting the obvious: why not start by running energy into his right arm?

If you are familiar with EFT, start by using EFT to reduce the emotional effect of the stroke.

Another idea would be to work with the cranial sutures and all parts of the brain (especially the site of the stroke and the sensory and motor corteces which run down both outer sides of the brain roughly in line with the ears).

COnvential medicine says most of the healing and recovery takes place in the first 3 months, and pretty much stops a year after the stroke, but we ain't conventional Smiler

BLessings,

Thanks so much for the advice.
Yes, I did send energy to his Right arm and shoulder as that is where most of his discomfort seemed to be, and being that he was only here for a short time.
I did hear from a friend of his that "he's sure its his imagination, but it seemed to feel better. "
When I see him again, I'll do what has been suggested.
Thanks everyone and Happy New Year.

Hi, Deb
My wife and I worked on a stroke victim last spring. However, it was relatively soon after the stroke, within 24 hours at the hospital. She did distance healing, and I did hands-on. First, I worked on his head, and "felt" for the point of the damage, which was confirmed, so I ran energy there. Then I worked on his neck, around C7. I know I worked on his left hand and foot, since his left side was affected -- he had difficulty speaking intelligibly. He showed remarkable improvement, had iprovement in his speech by the time we left, & most of his speech back by the next day. We had another few sessions with him over the next several weeks, resulting apparently in some use of his left leg, and continual improvement in his left hand and arm, all of which, according to his doctors, had been considered if not hopeless, at least a very long shot. He has been driving since summer, can walk without a cane, but does not yet have full function in the left arm and leg.
We are not able to work on him often, but we were pretty excited about all this. As far as he is concerned, he credits us with saving his life and the "miracles." I wish we could have seen him several times a week for the first few weeks, and weekly after that, but that wasn't possible.
