This post is actually about 2-3 months in the making. I have been corresponding via email with a lovely lady named Betty who publishes an email newsletter for people w/multiple sclerosis. It is called Journey to Wellness. She had had primary progressive MS for more than 10yrs and follows a strict diet, exercises and meditates faithfully and uses vitamin/mineral supplementation. All of this has allowed her to function w/relatively little MS influence (only some residual one-sided leg weakness) PP MS is the most severe kind of MS b/c there is no amelioration of symptoms and is pretty disabling.

I had been thinking about writing to Betty to introduce her to QT for literally a year or so but just hadnt. Finally I did and told her to check out QT at the website. So began our friendship. We corresponded for a while while she checked out the site, ordered the books and practiced. She loved it and said QT felt a bit like Qi Gong (which she had been practicing for some time) Anyway she and I decided to trade sessions. I would work on her arthritis and she would send QT to me for my knees (my MS irritation) Well she was happy to report that her hands felt a lot better, her long-standing leg weakness disappeared and she began doing QT for her buddies and was astounded at the results! She became so enthused that she devoted a whole issue of her newsletter to Energy work, most notably QT and asked to include my inital letter which detailed how QT helped ME. The piece is very well written and clear (she sent it to me first for my comments Her site is www.bettyshouselifeafterms.com and just click on the "this months newsletter" link to read the newsletter. Be assured that I obtained her permission before writing this post! BTW, the "Martha" she refers to is me and recounts how our relationship began and her intro to QT.

I am writing about it here b/c 1) there has been a lot of interest here lately about expanding people's awarenes about QT and 2) I want those people to know that this IS happening in this small way. Her newsletter has a readership of over 3000 people/groups worldwide. She is VERY enthusiastic about QT and REALLY feels that it will be beneficial to people w/MS and so wanted to bring it to their awareness. She has promised to keep me abreast of the response which I will then pass on here.

I had been reading her newsletter (which is free) since 2000 and told her that I wish I had known about QT at my initial MS diagnosis....might have saved me time and discomfort at that time. I am hoping at least ONE person (hopefully many!) will think "Woohoo!!!!!...finally, something that will help me!!" That's what I would have said if I had known QT then. Anyway... I thought y'all might like to know.

Great job Martha!
No doubt because of your actions many people with MS will find relief. And it doesn't stop there. There is the circle of family and friends for each of them that will come to know QT and be helped.
I really like the name for Betty's newsletter: "Journey to Wellness" and her whole healthy, positive attitude. What a super lady she is.

Hi Martha,
How wonderful!! I wish my mother could have read this kind of feedback about energy healing and ms. She let me do some energy healing work with her a couple of times (Therapeutic Touch one time, and Reiki the second [she died before I'd learned Quantum Touch]), and both times she got flu symptoms (I know now that regular sessions would have helped to disinfect her body and retrain her immune system).

I have MS as well. This week it's 10 years ago that I was diagnosed. I learned about QT 2 weeks ago and followed my first workshop thursday and friday.

It's so nice to hear about other people that have success. That will keep me motivated.

I hope many people will benefit from you sharing your experience.
