Pinky asked for info about Joey Korn and the Dowser's prayer, and the suggested I post the answer in "off topic." Well, since we're talking about "the benefits of life force energy" I'd put it here. We have enough new members that many may not be aware of this very useful info.

There is a lot of good info and resources on the site, and Joey's book gives great guidance about how to use dowsing to evolve one's spiritual path.

Here are the things I've valued the most:

Joey taught himself to discover new energy patterns, and found a consistent pattern coming from people's beds. He found the pattern to be identical to the kabbalistic Tree of Life pattern (about which he previously knew nothing)! So he now dowses the bed patterns of to see if the personal energy field is in balance, and whenever it is not, he says this prayer:

"If it be Thy Will, may the Powers of Nature converge to increase and enhance the beneficial energies and balance any detrimental energies within my being and in my living environment, especially here around my bed, to bring healing and balance to my (our) complete being(s), physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Work especially with the Bed Pattern and the Human Energy Pattern, for now and into the future, for as long as is appropriate. Amen."

This prayer can transform detrimental energies emanating from microwaves, computers, mobile phones, and other devices in seconds. It is quite amazing!

if you learned how to run energy, which everybody are on QT workshop, then you know it can be applied -intended- for anything.

Everyone can do the same with only basic QT skills - vortexing (pendulum!!!!)- and the same intention.
Manifesting this as well as many other wonders only depends if you set your intention to be so.

As it is said: free your mind and the rest will follow.

In not saying anything against Joeys work, I respect him highly, I'm only reminding you that this and many wonders are already possible to all. Try it and you will see it is so.

Yes, there are many, many ways to tap in! IMO, learning about dowsing isn't something to do instead of QT or vice versa: they are both wonderful, differently focused ways of sensitizing oneself to the existing relationship with ALL-THAT-IS. Just as QT has, dowsing has certainly enhanced all of my healing work in its own way.

I've found that the two work wonderfully well together, one enhancing the other. Dowsing enhances the awareness of energy as information, and the ability to tap into and/or influence energies anywhere just by intention. Healing is just one of its applications.

On the other hand, QT enhances the ability to generate high-resonance flows and fields of energy by means of body and energy system, and to influence local or distant matter by means of it. It also can help sometimes help some of us tap into the information side, but this is secondary to the intent of healing.

I wouldn't be without the learning and expansion I've gotten from both of these disciplines, but for energy healing, I still say QT is the one I'd keep if I only got to keep one healing modality among those I've learned.

I wasn't talking QT versus dowsing (because I'm using it for 10 y), nor anything else.
I'm just reminding us who we are - divine, magnificent, powerful beings.

Great and thanks for posting this. It was/is very helpful for me as I am shure for others. Sayng the prayer to clear the energies around/in our bed is very helpful as most of us are about 8 hours of the 24 hours in bed and the other clearings, Computers etc.

I did this prayer today for a woman suffering great electrical sensitivity due to being surrounded by powerlines. She's in Toronto and I'm in London - I've never done a distance treatment before, and I don't know what has happened since. I asked her to let me know.

When I learned the prayer originally during a two day Dowsing workshop with Joey, I was struck by how quickly and easily it worked; it was a huge step forward from the dowsing group meetings I'd been going to up till then.

Joey originally developed the prayer after learning he could get underground streams to move just by asking them to! His parent's well had been polluted by a new source of unclean water, and he asked it to move away. It did! I think he adds a great deal to our knowledge of the power we all have - a precise form of words to cover any particular need or request is incredibly useful for beginners! I also like the way he asks the powers of nature to do the work and covers any unforeseen consequences anywhere else.

I've experienced no more fatigue at the computer since I blessed it, whereas I used to feel it draining me. No dowsing is required to do this blessing, either, nor does it seem to matter whether you believe it's possible or not! I certainly didn't when I first tried it.

Joey showed us all how to dowse for the energy lines left by thoughts and feelings, during the course, using rods. I'd never successfully used one before but they're very useful if you want to look for these energy lines, or vortexes, or to find water or gas. I successfully located the water inlet to my flat using the rods, witnessed by two plumbers; this saved alot of unnecessary digging! They tried it first, but instead found the gas inlet! It's important to be very clear what you're asking to find.

Joey's course is the best dowsing course I've done and if you get a chance to learn with him, I would encourage you to do so! He's a genuinely caring man and a great teacher. He opened my eyes to my own power in the 'real' world in much the same way Richard did when I discovered Quantum-Touch healing!

I'm honored to see this discussion about my work. Since my work with EMFs was brought up, I thought I'd call attention to my article on working with these energies. In my work, the real power is in blessing, which we all have at our disposal, but so few of us use. (Though I don't mean to take anything away from QT, and I understand that we all have that at our disposal too. In fact, I consider QT a technique to focus blessing.) Yes, we are powerful spiritual beings with unlimited power at our disposal. Keep using that power!

Alfred -- Have you experienced stronger or more effecient energy when lying in bed, as Joey suggests. A couple of years ago when i was lying in bed, i used Q.T, to see if i could remove a 3mm round growth from the leading edge of eyelid. I ran energy for 15 minutes on two mornings in a row. On the third nite, the little ball of skin fell off in my hand, leaving no mark where it came off. It impressed me. Gord

Dear Joey

How nice of you to post on our message board. This is most fortuitous. A friend of mine has just been informed that she has had a reoccurence of cancer that has been clear for a year. She has a huge Cell phone mast just 100 meters from her front door and the moment I waw it I was worried about the EMF's emmanating from it. Would i be able to use this blessing on such a powerful force of EMF's. I guess I am just doubtful of my abilities in the face of such a formidable force, rather than TV's and Computers and such like which I feel are well withing my capabilities!!! Surely a cell phone mast emits far more dangerous amounts of EMFs than our household stuff. Have you had experience with one?

I don't know how to use dowsing wires - could i use my pendulum to test the force emanating from it and how would I do it with a pendulum.(Not worked much with it anyway).

I would be grateful for any comments you may have. I will go through your article carefully as well.

Well, the bed pattern Joey addresses is there all the time: it doesn't require you to be lying in it. It's like an energy imprint because we spend so much of our time in bed.

Your story is great, though! I think is does help to be relaxed, but I haven't personally preferred to be lying down while running energy or intending healing. You may be changing my mind about that, though!

Hi Wendy, from my experience of using Joey's prayer/blessing and dowsing, it works fine without any dowsing at all; I can usually feel exactly when the energy has changed! So don't let your worries about using rods etc stop you trying the blessing anyway. I suggest you try it on something smaller to gain some confidence - say your computer. I used to get very drained sitting at mine but since blessing it using Joey's wording, I now have absolutely no problem. Asking for a beneficial 'flavour' of energy as Joey mentions is good and fun to do. Just give it a go on something you can imagine it might work on, then you can try the mobile phone mast! Good luck, and have fun - this really is a great technique to use.

Jani is right on (as usual), Wendy. I use dowsing rods or a pendulum less than 5% of the time. Really, they are just tools to sensitize you more to the shifts in energy and help increase your sensory acuity to better link into whatever energies you are putting your attention and intention on.

And I would absolutely go for the microwave towers, electrical substations, high-tension lines with the prayer: it isn't like weight lifting: it doesn't require more effort, but it might take quite a bit longer for the energy to actually shift (so who cares if it takes the energy 5 minutes or 50 to fulfill your intention: you just express the prayerful intention and either watch/feel and wait, or move on with the knowing that it will convert!)

I'm so, so, so glad you brought this up! It reminds me to do this whenever I see any of these huge devices.

Truly a wonderful thing to be able to do, and just like QT, any of us can!!

Good thought Alfred. I have been trying to attune the local cell, radio, tv, HAARP towers to beneficial energies for a while. I don't trust my own dowsing very well but the energy seems to have shifted to more positive/happy.
