Since energy follows thought, I was wondering if this idea would work. While running the healing energy, what would be the results to ask/imagine/visualize with our intention, that the energy be boosted X number of times the power of the energy flow?
This, of course, could be used in comibination with other intermediate and/or advanced methods. While the number of times to be increased would probably just be based on one's intuition.
I am still in the beginning stage of learning QT and do not feel that I have the experience yet to give this a try, but would love to hear what others think about doing this.

Whatever the energetically system we practice, reiki, polarity therapy, chi-kung or TCM, traditional chinese medecine, we cannot add energies. The �energy boosted X number of times the power of the energy flow� with intention accelerate the self-healing process. Try it with the QT mind and loving care spirit and you'll see the wonderful healing results by yourself.

Gilles, Perhaps you didn't understand my question and maybe I didn't phrase it correctly, as I do not want to change the source of energy or try to "add" anything to the energy. I am a Reiki I and it is my understanding that the Reiki symbols "boost" the energy coming into the practitioner and from the QT book: "The intermediate and advanced techniques can further empower the strength of your healing work." and so I would like more elaboration on your answer. Or comments from anyone else would be appreciated on this "technique."

If you can boost your breathing and body sensation x number of times, it should work. If the boost is just a conceptualization, I wouldn't expect very much.

I tried your suggested technique and felt a difference. I intended to double the flow of healing energy and then tripled it and it felt even more powerful. I experienced stronger tingles and more warmth in my hands. Our intent is very powerful and does amp the energy.
You could try saying I am raising to my highest healing vibration for this time and see how that feels.I also find that if I say I am raising my hands to a vibration for the highest good of all that this is a very high vibration. :-)

I just had a flash and we are all correct. :-) We do not increase the energy source yet we can increase the flow of energy coming through us with various techniques. The body sensations and breathing are the core of QT and our intent is a way to amp these.

I've heard of crystals being used to amplify energy. Anyone ever use crystals in their healing work? Here's a little tip I came across that I thought I'd share. I'd be interested in other people's experiences with it.

"Another powerful healing technique involves the use of two clear quarts points. Sit at the feet of the patient with the point of the crystal in your right hand facing in at the bottom of the patient's left foot, and the point of the crystal in your left hand pointing out at the bottom of the patient's right foot. Send energy up through your right hand (patient's left foot) and visualize it channeling all through the body, all up the left side, and through and down the right side and out the right foot. Imagine a continue circle of energy going in and flowing out. The key is to visualize ease of flow and balance. Visualize all stagnant energies breaking up and melting down, and new clarity and flow being established. All unwanted energies will be washed through, and new vitality and well-being will fill the energy field."
