Hi All,

Anyone that is interested in gaining strength without using the weights, it can be done with a simple breathing technique.

We are going to try it tomorrow, 29 January at 12:30pm. Central time.

Be advised that anyone that has a heart condition not to do it.

Namaste, Dennis

Hey Dennis,

Sounds interesting, however, could you please be a little more specific about what kind of heart condition you might be refering to. Is it about congestive heart failure, or a past heart attack or any kind of rhythm problem?
And maybe a little information on why the precaution.

Thanks very much,

Jody

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I was not able to reply to the question from Jody230 before now. Very valid question.

Warning, This exercise may increase blood pressure. If you are pregnant or challenged by high blood pressure, you may not want to do this exercise.

But perhaps if you choose to, you can do it, but without the intenseness that one would do if they did not have the challenge.

I hope that this answers your question.

Namaste, Dennis

Hi Master Herbalist,

Here it is, sorry about the delay.

Warning, This exercise may increase blood pressure. If you are pregnant or challenged by high blood pressure, you may not want to do this exercise.

First off, amp up your energy so that you can really feel the energy vibrating.
Basic, or SC, whatever you know or works for you.

Now as you inhale draw energy up from the ground through the bottom of your body. Feel this energy spin up your body, like a spinning football. Notice how far up your body the energy is able to come. Then as you exhale, allow the energy spin to slow down and run back out of the bottom of the body. Continue breathing in this way and experimenting with the energy for a few moments.

As you continue breathing, feel the energy spin up your body on inhalation, but as you exhale, try to keep the energy flow going up your body and out of the top of your head. Do not allow the energy to run back down your body as you exhale. Continue this energy play for a few moments.

Finally, feel the energy spin up your body on the inhalation, and keep the energy flowing up your body throughout exhalation. However, imagine that you have a cap that holds the energy in your body, not allowing it to flow out the top of your head. You will feel the pressure of the energy build in your body. Experiment with this for a while, then remove the “cap” and resume normal breathing.

With this kind of breathing, you and increase the flow of universal life-force energy through your body, as we already know from QT. You will then build stamina and muscle tone.

The more you do it, the stronger you can become, and keep building on this.

Enjoy, Dennis

QTDude,
Interesting! I'm going to try this out. Based on your other sharings, I tend to believe it already!

Blessings,

I've found that I tend not to use a football shape, just swirling energy up kind of filling my legs and body.. Care to share about your football shape? thanks!

Hi Charlie,

What you are doing with the swirling is right. Another way to see it/do it, is the vortexing that we use with QT.

The "spinning" football was just a different way to describe what you are doing.
It was not the shape that we were referring to. Sorry about the misinterpretation.

Enjoy, Dennis

Hi Dennis,
When I was still lifting in the dark ages, I DID this, not at all thinking it was a QT technique.! It works every time, allows a great deal of extra strength at the top of the movement. Somewhat like holding a vacuum and still breathing.
My sled weights went up to 425 pounds, not bad for a woman. Based on this breathing technique I thought I might do a posing routine and enter something. Then someone broke my concentration, causing the weights on the sled to become far too much, and tore the stomache muscles off of the inside of body. ouch.

Possibly you might want to warn others about the extreme need for focused energy with no interuptions.
I had been taught to concentrate to the point of ignoring a freight train if one clattered through the gym. That focus break is what almost killed me.

Only a thought.

But now I have no attached stomache muscle, just floppy strings of what was a 6pack.

(any excuse will do, ya know.)

This is very good and allows a great deal to be accomplished in a short period of time, all.
just be very careful. In any gym except for some music at times, quiet is tantamount.
And I know why. never had such pain.

I wonder how many people have been in an "accident" and hurt, or have died because they have lost their focus at just the wrong time. There are no coincidences.

This is a VERY good point! Did not think of that. I am glad that you brought it up.

When one starts going to going to extreme weights, Yes KEEP your focus!! Focus in life is everything!

That said, the meditation that I was speaking of, one does not use any weights.

Two years ago, I took a class, Material Success by Yogic Principles. And a story within the class, did not explain how, but told of a Yoga that got so strong that he fought tigers bare handed. He did very well, but then ran into a huge tiger, and he got hurt pretty badly. He healed, and quit doing that. Lesson learned, Wink And they did not mention anything about using weights.

With that story in my memory banks, I learned of this way of gaining strength, and I came to the conclusion that this might have been how he did it.

Enjoy, Dennis
