QT I/P |
Dear Lyne,
if you would like official answer maybe it is the best to ask QT head office directly. Names are already written under each statement that particular person said about QT even on the QT web pages. I don't know if anyone already work in hospitals in Quebec, but, if there isn't anyone - maybe you can do it. With Love, Jelena |

Lyne, don't give up.
I did the same, but for animals, giving my name and my vets name for backup. after the first few"Can you really do that?" then proving I could, I kinda get swamped with requests from all over the world. You will too. Don't forget to charge for distant healing. It takes education (moneyspent by you) and strength too. When you charge, you charge for your education, which is not cheap. Keep on trucking... zeneagle "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all" |

Hi Lyne
I was curious about this topic becouse it has been my dream for many years (much before I heard about QT)to blend complementary therapies with mainstream medicine, in hospitals. So far I was treated with cold rejection but I am not going to give up. I work in the main general hospital on the island and our administration system is 'doctor dominated' Interestingly, lately I'm meeting an increasing number of staff who just started to show interest in the subject. I also talked to the staff developement manager and told him that when he wants, I can give QT demonstrations. He seemed to be considering the offer but no request yet. On a personal level, I use QT on my patients nearly everyday, that is with their verbal consent unless its an emergency and the person is unconscious. nicky |

Five years ago, or so, I volunteered at a Hospice in Colorado Springs. At that time we did a study on alternative therapies (energy work, essential oils, flower essences, etc.) in an effort to mainstream them so insurance might might be willing to pay for the therapies.
The patients and their families were very open to anything that might help. However, I must caution, "might help" may also mean making the transition, which a number of my patients took advantage of. I got a little upset when I realized this seemed to occur more than it didn't. My supervisor told me "That is why they are here" but it was still pretty difficult. This is something one needs to be cognizant of; sometimes the energy (mine, anyway) was just what they needed to be able to take their next step. The Hospice was in a building, not in their homes, which simplified some matters. Another thought is a rest home. I do believe the Hospice was more open to the therapies because there was not much chance of being sued. What is the worst that could happen? The patients were there because they were dying. Period. Good Luck! |

Hello Lucy and everyone...
If I understand you correctly... there is a possibility that people are going to die??? I have no problems with that since I have help a few of them in the past ... For me diying is a part of living... It may seams insane but I am happy for them... they done their parts on this earth so why feel sad??? When a person die that mean her "contract" his over so everything is in Divine order... anyways thats the way I see it... Thank you for sharing I appreciate... Have a Great Day All Lyne |

I was thinking I'd like to be involved in a hospital or surgery, too, but I can understand why it's so difficult for the orthodox medical profession to consider healing, especially a method so easy to learn as QT! A hospital is a structure with strict hierachy and doctors have been trained to think very differently to most of us 'healer' types!
It's unfortunately not as simple as assuming 'everyone wants to make people better here so why not have some healing as well'. There are methods of healing, developed by or for nurses, that have been tested and are approved - healing touch and touch for health, for instance. They are much more 'medically' based than QT; I did a search for healing touch the other night, and it seems to come from the diagnosis end of healing, needing alot more anatomical knowledge and language; the thing I love about QT is you don't have to have that knowledge to get great results! However, in an institution where practitioners are trained for years, QT won't look so good by comparison. To be rejected frequently but continue to send the power of healing intent and love is perhaps our communal lesson right now! And for me, that's plenty to be going on with. |

Hello creativejani2 and All of you...
The way I understand it... it's because the pharmaceutical business is down A LOT... so they need to make more money... so they do advertising on TV etc and tell you that for exemple... vitamin C causes this man to die so... and the beautiful thing is that THEY found a new product to "replace" the vitamin... OMG.... lucky us I also heard that if doctors choose to recommand altenative medecine and so on... they "might" lose their practice... and it goes on and on... thank god there is some doctors who will work "with" you at some level... Well... I choose to do whatever I have to do to help people who want to help themselves PERIOD... eh voilà Thank You creativejani2 I appreciate... Lyne hi |

Lyne, good conclusion, I find thinking about big business and people's reasons for not being honest/truthful/loving just sap my energy after a very short while; however, there is a huge culture of bullying within organisations everywhere and no-one wants to be picked on or stand out as different, so that keeps things going long after everyone knows it's a very bad idea. look what happened to the banks, and other big disasters. We all knew it was going to fail, yet the people inside that world just all stick together afraid to speak some sense.
However, back to the light, love and QT! I've got a manifesting mandala I'm testing out, it's an image that helps you focus on your desires and stay positive enough to 'see' them complete. If you'd like a copy, PM me, maybe it could help you find the ideal place? We can do anything if we really feel it's possible. love Jane |

Hello Jane and Everyone...
In MY World... disaster... shortage etc... are there to show me possibilities... people are more concious of their body... big organisations see me has a person who just want to help others... I choose to see it thus… Perhaps it is drawn by the hair? I believe that anything can and will happen… if one decides in their heart to see it thus that is what will occur... period In my universe and in my Heart I decide what I want... cool hum I have a lot of mandalas I downloaded from Olivier Manitara's website a year ago... see for yourself... this website is in french but images are like music... a universal language... http://www.oliviermanitara.org/mandala_detail.php Have a great weekend All Lyne |

QT P/I |
Lyne, on the QT website,, under "Learn more about Quantum Touch" there is a paragraph by Joanne Boyer, who like me, is a nurse anesthetist. She uses QT in her work and writes about it beautifully. You may want to check out her posts on the message board.
I'm retired now, but I can tell you a bit of my story about using energy work in the Operating Room. Some cases in surgery are done with local anesthesia and what is called "MAC," monitored anesthesia care. Anesthesia monitors and sedates and does airway care as needed during those surgeries. Some surgeons give really good locals, and some do not, and we in Anesthesia know who gives a lousy local. When we have a case with one like that, we know that MAC will be more challenging, because patients who hurt are stressed physically and emotionally, will need more drugs to offset a stingy local, & are more likely to have respiratory depression from drugs, etc. So I had my own system, OK? It was long before I actually took any classes on Reconnection or QT. We would begin the case, the patient said "Ouch" and I would say to the surgeon, "Please give more local." Sedation was already under way, but pain is pain and it comes through light sedatives like nobody's business, so you give some narcotic, some memory-erasing drug, more narcotic, then respiratory depression becomes a concern, so you start O2. Meanwhile the surgeon is working, the patient is hurting, getting more disoriented & stressed with every dose of medicine, until the inevitable happens, and you have to put the person to sleep with general anesthesia to finish the case. Then you go to PAR (Post-Anesthesia Recovery) and have a stressed-out usually nauseated patient --- and whose fault is it? Why, it is Anesthesia's fault, of course, Anesthesia did this to me! Uh huh. So what to do? How to break the cycle? Over time, I arrived at a technique that worked in about 60 to 70 per cent of cases where the Path to a general was under way. I did it for about a year, very quietly, before anyone noticed. When the pain-narcotic-stress spiral started, I would pull my stool up close to the patient's head and ask quietly if it would be all right if I put my hand on their heart. Nobody ever said no. I would put one hand on their heart and the other on a shoulder, and I did something I called "running in energy." Those were the words, running in energy. It turned out that it was QT in my own flavor, ha ha. In a high percentage of patients, there was a look of gratitude on the face, an instant calming of anxiety, and an obvious decrease in discomfort. Yes, drugs are still being given, but less was needed, and my impression was and IS, that a lot of general anesthetics were avoided, along with the nausea and prolonged recovery associated. After about a year of quietly doing this, a couple of surgeons stopped me in the hall one day and said "We wanna talk with you." Uh oh...what now??? This is what they said: "Alice, your patients do better -- they just do better. We think you're doing something different, but we can't figure out what it is." Bingo! I did not tell them. I thanked them for the good words and moved on, but to me, it was such a huge validation. But in those days, you were taking a risk with your career if you went into woo-woo in the operating room, so I kept my mouth shut. If that had happened closer to the end of my working days, and certainly if it happened now, I would scream from the rooftops, what I was doing. Later, I began studying energy work for real, first being certified as Level 3 in Reconnection, which I used to good effect for about 3 years before finding QT, thanks to Zeneagle. I had also discovered the Vogel Crystal work, but from the day QT entered my world, life was changed, & I never looked back. Now, when I go back to visit the troops in the OR for lunch or coffee, or at social events, they openly ask for healing sessions, and I have done them right in the OR coffee room in the middle of the day when people are coming and going on breaks. They are used to me doing it now, and nobody turns a hair...Oh Hi Alice...I have a headache. So Lyne, it's coming along in the hospitals, mainly from the nurses, and Yes the doctors notice. They tend to notice slowly, but they do notice. I have had a number of nurses take my workshops and also have had two M.D.s take workshops. One is an ER doc and one is Professor of Surgery, and both use the work as they can. One of them has sent clients to me for sessions. It's not only nurses, either. I've had Physical Therapists, a Respiratory Therapist, Massage Therapists, even one person employed in Hospital Administration. The University of Minnesota has a Spiritual Healing Center now, and some hospitals are openly using Reiki, Healing Touch, etc. and one hospital here advertises the mind-body connection. TV ads for Cancer Centers of America also prominently feature mind-body and diet and supplements -- so it's out there, it's happening. Hope this helps. Alice H.
