Hi Kweden:
I think most common or QT is hyperventilating (deep-breathing too fast and into the upper the chest, which causes you to lose too much carbon dioxide) during the sweeping and breathing can also cause a condition called tetne which causes numbness, tingling sensations, and when it goes on for a long time, a weird kind of cramping in the arms and hands called tetne. I've experienced that too. If it was this, then it's probably just a matter of regulating your breathing to a slower pace, and not doint the "fire-breath" for too long.

I've also experienced something like this in two different situations where I wasn't hyperventilating. In the first, when I do straight reiki sessions, I get pins and needles with numbness when the energy seems to have "filled" up in the portion of the body I'm working on, and that's how I know to go to the next position (I only will do straight reiki sessions now if that's what the person really wants [it is a very nice feeling to have a whole-body reiki session]): I much prefer QT-style healing techniques for faster results)

The other is when I've run QT into an area that sucked the energy through me like a vacuum cleaner: that's only happenned once or twice, but it was a very strong sensation of pins and needles more intense than the reiki experience I describe in the previous paragraph.

Blessings,
Alfred
