Tonight I was frying some fish in very hot oil. When I thought them ready I turned off the stove and started removing the fillets from the oil. Suddenly I felt two of my fingers touching the hot oil. I immediately removed them from the oil and put my hand under cold running water.

For some strange reason, however, I felt no pain. And when I looked at my fingers it was apparent that they had not been burned. Even now, an hour later, there is no sign of a burn. I can't but wonder how I escaped without harm.

Very strange...

did you run QT or some kind of healing to your fingers?

I've had something along those lines happen to me..not as dramatic as yours but it seems along the same lines.
I've had some pain in the knees from hiking and knew it was swollen. My entire drive home (about 40 minutes) I kept thinking about doing QT on my knee when I got home. By the time I got home my knee didn't hurt anymore and I wondered if just thinking about doing the QT actually works as well.
Glad you posted this cuz I've been wondering about these things.......

There was no need, since it gave no sign of injury.

Except for about 5-10% of the time, I conduct my life force healing practice by intention alone: energy follows intent. The QT CHI is another example of this phenomenon at work.

Regarding the "no wound" event, I've had one or two similar experiences, but so far it hasn't become something I can "do" deliberately. Shucks! Not YET, anyway!

We are, all of us, slowly awakening to a potential within us beyond our current imagination.

P.S. On the mundane side of the equation (not to pop any bubbles), if your hands were at all moist or otherwise insulated, the instant water vapor or other insulating substance could have both evaporated and insulated your skin. I've touched hot irons this way without pain, and this is also how people walk over hot coals in those firewalking ceremonies.
