I seem to have more sensations in my hand when I bring my hands over the patient rather than laying it on the patient. Is that increased feeling from the energy fields of the patient as in other energy healing modalities? Which brings me to my next question, would I be able to achieve the same QT effects with the sweeping and breathing but instead of laying of hands, hovering over the patient at a distance until I feel maximum sensations of my hands. Would it still work? My next question is that I get so stiff all over when I stay in one position too long (for example more than 3 minutes). I would start getting stiff and ache from the neck down to the wrist and fingers and sometimes back. I would need to stretch and pop all the joints for relief. It's probably not a QT related problem but is there any advice on this?
With more experience you will probably find that you will actually feel more sensation with your hands on the person. When I feel little or almost nothing when I begin, it is usually because I'm working on a person with what I call the blocked pattern of energy. It may take 20 or 40 minutes or even longer for the sensations to get strong. You can work with hands over a person with good results, but most people say it doesn't work as well and a few say it can work better. Experiment with it. QT is intended to be a system that is designed to evolve rather than one that is handed down already complete. Let us know what you learn.
Keep moving around during a session to find positions in which you are comfortable. It is a priority that you feel comfortable.
