I am just reading the book and a friend of mine, she is Reiki Master Teacher, told me that she would like to learn the Quantum touch as well to give her knowing then to her students, but it seems that she only can be a practitioner and not a teacher, because in Germany it isn't possible to educate teachers.

Can somebody explain, why it is so hard to get the Teacher/Maser education? Why should only have a few the possiblity to teach this wonderful Healing Energie? When everybody is able to learn Quantum Touch, why we aren't able as well to be Masters? Not the one is the Master who has many students, but the one who educates many Masters.

She can "go" to the on line store and order the Interactive Video Workshop Pacckage and host a Video Workshop.

Instructors have a very clear path to become instructors (go to the link), and no one is restricted from this. There is a language limitation, however, so until a bi-lingual person undergoes the training to become a QT practitioner and then instructor, I don't see how the staff of QT would have the means to overcome this issue.
You should remember that Quantum Touch is in its relative infancy compared to Reiki, and Reiki took decades to reach the US and then Europe. If you look at it in those terms, QT is reaching the world at an amazing speed.

My recommendation to you is to promote QT in Germany every way you can, first with bilingual people taking the Interactive video workshop. Perhaps someone will take enough interest to train in the UK to become a practitioner and maybe a trainer. QT has grown because of the grass-roots level of involvement, so get involved! I think you will be deeply blessed by the undertaking.
BLessings,
Alfred

There are live classes taught in Germany by Eva Marie Mora of Arizona (see instructor listing). And now that we have an advanced workshop instructor in the UK (Deborah Gair-Hargraves), the advanced classes should be more accessible for Europeans. Deborah's 2006 schedule hasn't been set up yet.

The requirements for becoming an instructor are set up the way they are in order to assure that instructors really know Quantum Touch well and can teach it properly.

Look at the positive - QT is getting more widely known, and like Alfred said is spreading by word-of-mouth via people getting involved, running workshops, which anyone can do when they order the video/dvd. Of course the main barrier is the different languages people want it translated into. The Master thing is a Reiki term and not really applicable to QT in the same way. It seems relatively easy to become a Master in Reiki (one of my best friends is a Master but does very little teaching) whereas the advanced QT workshops require the teacher to be able to actually see energy running. Not everyone can do that!

Nothing's hard if you really want it and Richard is making QT pretty freely available to everyone and I believe doing alot of work behind the scenes on other ways of promoting it...

The best attitude is gratitude, because it brings more things to be grateful for! I'm grateful I speak English for a start..!

Best wishes
Jane

Personally, I have this difficulty with becoming a practicioner/Master. I believe it requires reports on 60 hrs of healing.
Some healings only take a couple of minutes, v. few more than 5. Maybe not because some bad condition blew but because "thats enough for just now!" I appreciate "help" and I have learnt that when Ido what I'm told, I get more of it!
I guess I would have to heal about 500 people to qualify and I hate 'paperwork'!
Not to say that one day it might come to that, as the numbers line up outside my door!
Oh, thats a 'past life' again! LOL,
Huggie

Hi Huggie, I don't particularly like paperwork either, but I kept records from the time I started practising and I did mostly longer sessions with people, so it was relatively easy to do it.

I guess if you're inundated with people and you get great results in 5 minutes or less, then the title of practitioner might not be so important! I don't think the term Master is used in QT though - which is one thing I like!
Anyone who wants to be a teacher (officially) of anything except maybe Reiki has to handle paperwork though, so I don't see that as a barrier as far as QT goes.

If you do want to become a practitioner/teacher, I'd say it's worth setting that as your goal and doing some hour-long sessions with people to get the recorded hours! Having a long-term goal to get enough hours seems feasible, at least!

I'm glad you made it back onto the board, by the way!
best wishes,
Jane

I am also a Reiki Master, but have now been practicing QT for more than 3 years with wonderful results. I am French, living in France, and submitted my file to become a certified practitioner in France (then, if possible, a QT instructor). I submitted more than 80 hours and could submit many more now. I fulfill all requirements to become a certified practitioner except that I need to host a video workshop and attend a live workshop. And THERE is my problem. To officially practice in France and Switzerland, I need an official certificate (which I have not yet). For the moment, in order to be able to practice, I am officially a certified Reiki Master and practitioner, though, in reality, I am doing QT (Unfortunately, I cannot announce it is QT because I may not as long as I am not certified!). I mean that I am practicing QT under a Reiki label, and I feel a little uncomfortable with this situation.
Where does the problem come from?... The video workshop is only in english, and I have no way to host an english workshop in France, because of the language. And even though I speak english, I am not good enough for a simultaneous translation. Now, for the live workshop, all those which were recently announced in France are in english,... and too expensive for me.
So, the only solution for me is just to continue what I was doing, that is helping people the best I can.
But I must recognize that, if we want to spread the word in France concerning QT, it is urgent to find a better solution...IN FRENCH.

Love and regards to all of you.

Gerard.

You don't have to "hide" the QT that you're doing totally under a Reiki label. You just can't list it in your advertising or call yourself a QT practitioner without being certified. You can certainly talk about it and tell a client what you're doing in a session.

In response to the paperwork issue, I think it's important to keep track of results to chart progress and see what is working where. I plan on trying to extensively document as much of my early QT work as possible in order to have a trail so to speak of information which I can use to quantify results. More often with subtle work such as QT can be it's difficult for clients to remember or recall how bad their situation was... with a quick chart and some health information you can show them what they have been saying throughout the various treatments, a very powerful tool in my mind!

And as for educating others in QT... I believe you can totally do it in order to help them achieve a new level in their life. Maybe Richard won't like me saying this but you don't "need" a course or a certificate... anyone can learn this at anytime! I plan on teaching as many people that want to learn... if they are sparked I'm sure they'll find a way to learn more just as I was. Big Grin

Hello lovelies,
I logged everything I touched with QT,(literally!), from the little five minute moments to the epic three hour sessions... it's taken me just over a year to do the hours - way more than the hours in fact.
If you write it all down you'll be amazed at how soon you'll be there.
Also some Instructors are very willing to travel and run live basic workshops.... I'm married to one of them! It would be very easy to run a live workshop working alongside a translator. All we need is a group of 'up for it' people with a sense of humour!
love to all
Nx
