I bought a house in Amsterdam on the Kolk, which means whirlpool in Dutch. Many people on the square have been commenting for years that the energy here seems to be very negative and draining. I just realised today that the name of the square is significant, and I'd like suggestions on how to visualise the whirlpool to work to my benefit instead of detriment.

As I was walking home today I imagined that I was attracting money from all around, imagining energy coming to me in the form of money, abundance, joy, luck, friends etc, it was coming from all sides. I held this feeling for about half an hour as my hands got hotter and hotter, and then I imagined that I stretched my arms up the sky and intuitively made a vortex, a whirlpool of energy came down from the sky to me. As I reached my house, I wondered how I could keep this up then I realised that I LIVE on whirlpool square in city centre. It used to be a place inside the fortress walls where canals met and made a whirlpool as the water flows from opposite directions came together. I'm sure that the name is energised.

I'm wondering how I would use this whirlpool to bring good things TO me instead of carrying them away? Anyone have any ideas? Anyone ever thought about something like this?

this may be a bit not what you were looking for- but i just read 'creting abundance with feng shui' by lillian too. so that is what comes to mind for you- that making use of basic feng shui techniques helps to draw energy into the house and keep it flowing through all the important areas of your life.

also, i am learning reiki. and there are ways of amplifying/ tuning up/ turning on /clearing the energy in your house that i'm sure could be just as well done with QT. it is all energy and intention, and they do keep telling us to be creative and apply it to anything and everything.

i know that i haven't had any problems with my car since i spent about 15 min. running energy (QT), and focusing on how wonderful and reliable and lovely it is (law of abundance exercise).

i pictured the car being coated inside and out with a protective/healing/mending layer of white light that would maintain and improve without interfearing with functionality. i have a 1997 dodge intrepid with over 106k miles- but it seems to run more smoothely when i make a point of smiling about 'what a good car it is' when i drive, as opposed to worry about how much longer all the wires, hoses and tires etc. are gonna last.

so i don't see why you couldn't do the same with your house. in fact my first home is being built right now and everytime i visit or think about the site i let the reiki symbols sink into the foundation and constuction materials. afterall, i want this house to last for as long as my family needs it, and for us to prosper in all areas of our lives while we are there !
