It's a wonderful book that pulls many rigorously tested scientific experiments together to address exactly this subject matter. Very cool, the whole concept of the "Zero Point Field" has shifted my world view a few notches.

Chris, I couldn't agree more about this book! I've read shelves of books about energy, & this one is the best I've seen. My space is limited here for books, so I've had to adopt the "save one--get rid of one" technique. "The Field" will always be here, a keeper. She did the homework, the research, then put it all together in a story that reads like a thriller.

One batch of research would be built upon by another's work, and so it went for many decades. She brings all these threads together so beautifully & so logically....Anyway, I heartily agree. I've told everybody I know about the book & have given a couple of copies away as gifts.

Anyone doing energy work, healing work, would benefit by reading this...it is full of Aha!s.

How true - love as an intention or experience does in fact trigger a completely different circuit of hormones which affect every cell in our bodies and also affects our brain activity, thoughts, and so subsequent feelings and actions! It's not just an emotion, it's an energy which connects us to the state of harmony we all need in order to thrive.

I love bits of science like this to think about, but in the end we decide what we want to feel, believe and experience on more personal grounds, and the realisation that we're actually in control of our own inner world is the most powerful moment of change and release of potential a person can have, I think. Everything that points us in that direction is just wonderful and who knows what post, or article, or conversation might be the one that pushes us all over the edge into a quantum leap of consciousness - the 'hundredth monkey' principle? Thanks for all the postings in this thread and keep on reminding us all how powerful we are!

Hi Floridagirl, you know, I sometimes feel I'm the only one doing this sort of thing (I'm the only one I personally know in London doing it - must get some new friends!) and sort of feel self-doubt, or a bit lonely. But then I think - it's great being one of the few doing something - we're pioneers, showing the way ahead for the mass of humanity! So if everyone was charging their water and so on, it would be great for the world; but that little moment of appreciation - that we're a step ahead of where most are in the understanding of this amazing world of thought, feeling and intention - would be gone. So when I feel alone, I try and enjoy it, and see myself on a huge, empty plane (or plain!) with just a few distant people walking there, too - and it feels great, lots of space to myself to think and experiment and have fun without interference. I then feel really fortunate that I'm experiencing and enjoying what I know and that I can be of help to others simply by being here and knowing this stuff! Just thinking these thoughts is helping make the possibility that others will become aware of them soon. This is all pretty good stuff!

Have you tried putting 'one with the ocean' on a glass of water? I did that the first time and got a really lovely, bubbly feeling, like the water was happy about reaching its home! I now put that on my water energisers along with I love You and Thank You. Try putting 1.618 on it, too, and see how that feels!

Hi, this extract is from an article which is relevant and inspiring to all who are interested in the potential of our intention. I believe Love is the greatest and most powerful intention we can have!
<How much energy is that? To find out, Tiller says, you simply use Einstein's equation: e=MC2.

Here's how this comes out in practical terms. You could take the volume of, say, a single hydrogen atom (which is incredibly small, an infinitesimally small fraction of a cubic centimeter), and multiply that by the average mass density of the cosmos, a number which is known to astronomers. And what you find out, Tiller says, is that within the amount of vacuum contained in this hydrogen atom there is, according to this calculation, "almost a trillion times as much energy as in all of the stars and all of the planets out to a radius of 20 billion light years!"

If human consciousness can interact with that even a little bit, it can change things in matter. Because the ground state energies of all particles have that energy level due to their interaction with this stuff of the vacuum. So if you can shift that stuff of the vacuum, change its degree of order or coherence even a little bit, you can change the ground state energies of particles, atoms, molecules, and chemical equations.
In conclusion, despite our attachment to it and our feeling of its solidity and persistence, what we think of as the physical universe is an almost incomprehensibly miniscule part of the immensity of All That Is.

Our future, Dr. Tiller is telling us, lies in harnessing the energies that lie hidden in the spaces between the particles, atoms, molecules, planets, stars, and galaxies of the physical universe. . .

JulieAnn, the reason I posted it originally was show the far-reaching effects love can have. Many people feel the effects of QT can be enhanced by adding love into what they're sending, and this is one example of how that might affect things.

Thanks for reawakening this thread. I am new and may have missed this one altogether. I can't wait to start reading some of the books. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge. Synergy--wonderful stuff.
