Hello All, Does anyone have any experience using QT to dissolve bladder stones in dogs? Our seven year old retriever has stones, vet e-rayed her yesterday and has scheduled surgery two weeks from now. I will run energy for her one hour each day for the next two weeks and see what happens. Thanks for any input with this problem. Denise
I don't have experience with a dog, but with a cat. The stones responded very well, within three days the cat was up running around like a kitten and using the litter box again. Sounds like these stones are not as serious if they can wait two weeks, so I would go for it. Saving your dog from surgery would be wonderful.
You might also want to look into diet. The person with the cat changed the cats diet after reading that the kind of food she was feeding the cat was known to cause bladder stones.
Hope all goes well and you furry friend amazes the doctors.
Thanks for the reply journeyman. We have run the egergy into "Casey" for the past two days, an hour each time. She seems to doing better, she is not straining or urinating as often as she was. It's interesting that when we run egergy at first she can't hold still, after a few minutes she relaxes and moves around until she has my hands where she wants them. Hmmmm, does she know something I don't? When I take her to the vet I will have him take a new x-ray and compare it to the first. Hopefully the stones will be gone. I will keep you all posted. Her appt is Feb 3. Thanks to all who support, use and maintain this web site. It's nice to read about others success using QT!! Thanks! Have a great day. Denise
I have found that most animals squirm at first. They are not used to being held in one area, they are used to being petted which means constant movement, so it seems a bit strange to them. One thing I sometimes do is start to run the energy before I put my hands on them. I turn my hands toward them and I tell them what I am going to do. This seems to help a lot. I do have one furry client that is always overjoyed to see me and demands her time. She's had QT often enough to really know what it can do and see just loves it.
Hello deniseoxley I too will send, morning and night. Your cat will eventually come running to you when YOU do the energy on her. Most cats are energy junkies, anyway.
I wanted to suggest that you save both the before and after x/rays so that Richard Gordon can use them in the newsletter.
I have no doubt that Casey will heal without surgery.
lots of healing hugzzzzzzzzz, zeneagle

Thanks for the reply Zeneagle. When you picture Casey, please picture a golden retriever. I appreciate Debras experience with her cat and I hope we have the same outcome. I appreciate all of the energy sent to her. I will save the x-rays before and after and gladly share them with Richard or anyone else. I'm sure the energy is working as we are noticing crystals in her urine in the morning. Thanks again. Denise
