I seem to invariably feel drained after giving a distant healing session of quantum touch, particularly ones that have been very good for the client. This never happens when i work with a person in a hands-on session. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience and what i might be able to do to prevent energy drainage.
Thanks for sharing your advice. |

Hi Cletus, I do a lot of distance sessions and don't feel any difference.
Question: Is there any difference between your hands on and distance sessions? Wilson Certified QT P&I Wilson |

Hi Cletus,
One thought that popped into my head was maybe you are not breathing as you do with a hands-on client. Also, don't forgot to drink water before hand to hydrate yourself. I find that helpful Many Blessings Sekon Skennen:kow - May a great peace be within you |

Thanks Mari, Wilson
I liked the tip about hydrating myself before the session. Have never paid attention to that before. I don't think its the breathing, since i use similar breathing and sweeping patterns when i am doing both distant and hands on work. I wondered if it might have something to do with needing to maintain grounding to earth and cosmic energy, because i think i might be losing my grounding and sending my own energy while doing the distance sessions. I am not consciously aware of any other differences between my hands on and distance sessions. thank you Cletus |

Remember that we don't use our own energy when doing QT, either in person or distantly. Visualize the source of the energy being outside of yourself, from the Earth or Universe...that energy is unlimited.
Visualize the source energy coming to you when you ask, and see it as a light or color or wave, coming up through your feet and lege as a wave. It is not YOUR energy, so you cannot deplete yourself. As that energy wave moves and flows (FLOW is the key word) you will alos benefit because some will go to you, to your needs, to wherever your body is in need. You should gain a bit of energy from doing a session. Detachment from outcome is also a factor in many sessions. Try to achieve detachment from outcome to the best of your ability, and I know that's not always easy when you are doing a session for someone you love or are close to. I hope this helps. Remember that source of energy from "out there" is UNLIMITED, so you cannot deplete yourself, if you are drawing from that source. Thanks very much Ali,
Both the suggestions you have made, ie visualisation of the flow of earth and universal energy, and detachment are extremely helpful. As you mention both of them are also slightly more difficult to incorporate in to a distance healing session. I am normally focussed on visualising the client and the area needing energy, combining this with the visualisation you are suggesting seems slightly challenging, however i will try this in my next session and will post back results. I also realise that when i do distant healing i am kinesthetically feeling and sensing the client's affected area or part of body and very often reflecting that sensation in my own body. I know when healing or a shift has happened by the change in sensations in by own body. Is there something wrong with what i am doing here? I normally function kinesthetically stronger than through any other channel. Detachment is challenging yes, but i recognise how important this is to keep in mind that the energy is doing its own work and i need to keep out of the way. Cletus |

The kinesthetic sense is just fine. Just be sure you are clear about who owns what. Try to recognize what is the client's without taking it on yourself. Do this with intention. Instead of "directing" energy, try to think of OFFERING to the other person. It's a different mindset. Just offer, and feel the flows in yourself. Allow for all possibilities as you offer. Trust that it will go where needed, and let it go. It sounds like you are on the right track, and only need time and some practice.
I don't feel noticeably different when doing in-person work vs. distant work. You haven't mentioned whether you have experienced a live session of QT yourself, or whether you have had the opportunity to take a live class with an instructor to guide you. Both of those would be beneficial for you, in my humble opinion. Are you in a location where Practitioners and/or Instructors are working? Check the list of Practitioners and Instructors on the main QT Home Page....they are listed by state or internationally, by nation. Keep up the good work and welcome to QT. Thank you Ali,
For the welcome and generous help, i am glad to be here. I am in London in the UK and have taken a live basic QT workshop here last december in addition to owning Richard gordon's basic video workshop (for a couple of years) and a book on supercharging. I have experienced and given quite a few live sessions but have never managed to clear this question, till now. I look forward to possibly doing the Core transformations course when next in London, and to getting in a lot more practice in the meanwhile. Thanks once again, Cletus |

I find that it's important to drink water AFTER a QT session. I don't think it's only hydration; there's something about water that helps the energy flow and the water in my body is somehow "discharged" during a session. If I don't drink after a session I get tired, too.

Mark,
I agree with you. Actually, I find a glass of water before and a huge one afterwards is very benefical. I also keep one close by during the session as well in case the session is a very long one. Many Blessings Sekon Skennen:kow - May a great peace be within you |

Hi MarkL, Mhari,
Thanks for the emphasis on drinking sufficient water around QT sessions. I can also report that i have been having very positive results with my energy levels post sessions, after following each of the suggestions in this post ie • Drinking lots of water and ensuring sufficient hydration before, during and after QT sessions; • Visualising a continuous flow of source energy coming to and through me; and • setting an Intention at the beginning of session and staying Detached from the outcome during the session. I completed a distance QT session of well over an hour yesterday evening and felt very good at the end of the session. As importantly i got some great feedback from the client about the session this morning. Thanks for the very helpful comments and suggestions everyone, Cletus |

On the suggestion of drinking water, I would also suggest that during the distance sessions you keep a glass of water handy to sip on when you begin to feel drained.
