Sorry to hear about your trouble. A few computers have had this glitch with groupee. Here's a tip. Write your post in your word processor program and copy it to the message board. That way you will always have your message if you get this glitch.

don't feel too bad,huggie...i was temporarily unable to get to chat,and had friend send in email to qt office,and guess what? THEY COULDN'T EVEN FIND MY PROFILE!!! weird,huh?

Sorry to hear. If we use a different message board, we will lose all previous messages. This is not an easy option to accept.

I've never had any problems with the board or with the chat room. I think people's java gets messed up on their PC. Posting a complaint on the message board doesn't get the problem fixed. People need to contact the office for support. I contacted the admin to request a feature. Jennifer responded promptly as did Groupee. They can't help if they don't know there's a problem. There's a Contact Us link in the footer of each forums page. Check your java first.

Cris, that's been my experience too. NO problems. Advice is to clean out your cookies and temporary internet files once a week and re-install your Java if having a problem.

I've been happy with the message board and the chat.

I appreciate the advice of cleaning cookies,etc.,and have done that...what can you suggest when groupie can't even find your profile to help? As I stated,I had a friend email the office for me...the response was they were unable to find my profile...actually,I hope Huggie is able to get her situation straightened out as easily as I was mine..on my own.

It's probably a lot more difficult to communicate via 3rd party. It might have been more helpful to contact administration on your own. They may have needed more information than was provided or didn't want to compromise your confidentiality. I could suppose a lot of things but I've no knowledge; I can only guess so I'll stop supposing now. ;-) A Contact Us link is at the bottom of every forum page.

I had tried to contact office...didn't recognise my password,nor could they locate me by profile...i just kept pushing buttons,until...please don't laugh....i changed time zone to community time zone...ok,i hear someone laughing...lol,besides me...

Um, er, ahem, noooo Amy, no one's laughing. ;-) Honestly, that's the way I fix most stuff -- just keep pokin' buttons 'til sumpthin' works.

I personally have never had a problem with this forum. It works great for me. Sure the formatting of the post window is not the best, but really not a problem. Only time I have ever had a problem with this forum is when I was working on a Windows machine and IE kept crashing for no good reason.

Contact the office or Groupee directly to get direct results.

Or, buy a Macintosh! Nice, easy to use, STABLE, essentially virus/spyware/adware-FREE....... hard to go wrong....

I know I will NEVER go back.

To anyone experiencing problems - that is unfortunate. Be patient - maybe administrate some quantum touch to your computer?! lol

Tonight, the seventh time I have been unable o "Post Now" Even this one, I can only see the "P" so it will probable post.
I would love to write my longer posts in "Word" and paste but Groupee "paste" is always greyed out. This would not fix an absence of "Post Now"
Trouble is that the whole form is way off to the right so "post now" is hidden and there is no way to center it.
