I read with interest about running energy while walking. Since outdoor walking was challenging during winter, I started using an indoor exercise program with my new Total Gym bought through QVC. Breathing is important with any exercise program, so why not breathe and sweep at the same time.

I found the breathing patterns have to vary depending upon the type of exercise being done. The slower movements can handle a 4-4 breath easily. With faster paced movements, a 2-2 breath seems to work, surprisingly without getting light-headed. With the breathing and the sweeping, I have found that the natural muscle soreness experienced in starting an exercise program to be much less and the recovery rate faster. Now, will there be an increase in the results...will the ratio of lean muscle mass vs FAT decrease faster????? Only time will tell. I have started out slowly and have increased the workout time and exercise program every two weeks. I believe by adding the U-nan pattern for weight loss suggested in the SuperCharging class, the results could very well be enhanced. Has anyone had an experience with this and what were the results?

I took a workshop a couple of weeks ago, and I'm still learning. I really enjoy working out, and never thought of using QT for that purpose. What is is U-nan pattern for weight loss. I am trying to use QT for weight loss, but I'm not sure how effective it is

U-nan is a technique that is taught in the Supercharging class. Healthy cells exhibit specific colors. The U-nan is a 3-dimensional pattern or structure that helps correct imbalances in the body. I have just started to incorporate this technique in my daily regime of things to do to lose weight, although I have been using the U-nan for other purposes since learning about it. I would highly reccommend taking the Supercharging class!

As far as working out, I find the breathing patterns change depending upon the exercise being performed. Sometimes, like doing squats, it takes two repititions to one breath. Sometimes it's like "patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time"...I have to slow down to get the pattern right. Also, during times when I am not using my hands, I place them in an area where I might feel tension, and run energy there. Between sets, for the 1 minute rest, run energy during that time as well.

I hope this helps. Let me know how it is working for you. Have fun with it.

It's been almost a year since the first post, I am wondering how the breathing with exercise has worked for you. I would also love to hear how the U-nan worked for weight loss. Please give us an update..

Hi all,
Since patterned breathing is such a large part of weight lifting, I wondered if QT could be used in conjunction with the breathing patterns normally used during a lifting set.

Thanks, zeneagle
