WOW I thought I had it made with the old forums. I understood them so well. Ok, so I am still partial to them. Maybe I just have to learn these, but admit I aint too fond of that. ha

Anyway, went to change my password, as I will never remember the one sent to me, but could not change it. I clicked on my profile and View/Edit, but my name and password (I am trying to chagne) showed up shadowy, would not let me change it. So what on earth do I do?

And whats this karma thing? lol I mean, if 0 is best and I have 124, boy am I in trouble!

Nevermind about changing the password ... I figured out that part (finally!). But out of curiosity would like to know what the karma thingy is all about. And I lost all my favorites and reminders!

I was wondering about that Karma thing also. Ah well.

OK, so tell me how to change my password, please! And I don't see any karma reference...OY! Thanks a million.

Look above in left hand corner. See the word "Go?" Click on that.
Then click on "My Space."
Then click "Profile."
Next, a box (whatever) will appear with your profile. Click "edit."

From there you'll have to take it on your own, but I got you most of the way.

I tried that too all of it, and it would NOT let me change my password, then all of a sudden on about the tenth try, it did...go figure.

Now if I could figure out how to do Private Messages.

The karma thing is just the new version of the titles on the old message board. At least there are only three of them.

It appears they give ya bad karma for posting, and good karma for 'not' posting. lol I mean if 0 is best, and this means 0 posts, so no posts on healing = good karma. This may need a little tweaking.

Need help please! I am still going around in circles! What do you do when you hit "edit"? I still can't seem to change my password!

Hello All! I finally did get the password changed.The process doesn't tell you the change is completed,and that was all it took to confuse me. Sooooo........ NEVERMIND!!

Yes, it took me about ten tries to realize that I had actually changed my password, but the software doesn't tell you "Congratulations! You have successfully....." and yada yada. I finally figured it out....call it my DUH-factor, LOL.

I think Jennifer is working on the permissions for everyone to be able to do Private Messages...I corresponded with her over this weekend and she said she will consult the tech people about that. She was not aware that PMs were not functioning. Little by little, things are evolving in the right direction.

"Chat" could be the next question. I have permission for chat but have no idea how it works, and Jennifer is working on that also. She is a very nice and helpful person, and she's working on it, so stay tuned.

Is there a Quantum-Touch chat? I see the general chat for the general groupee universe on groupee.com, and on the QT board I've seen the unchecked permissions for chat, but I haven't seen any chat icons - have you?

Yes, here is how to find the "chat" icon:

My space--->Permissions--->Chat icon at bottom of list--->Personal Permissions.

Two items there ARE checked in my case, "View chat room" and " Post chat content."

Clicking on the "chat" icon doesn't do anything, it acts like a dead link. Jennifer said she doesn't know how chat works but is looking into it with the tech people ASAP, hopefully today, now that the holiday weekend is past.

She's also working on the Personal Message issue.

Hey! This time, at the "Go" tab, there is a chat icon at the bottom - and it takes you to Quantum-Touch Chatroom - and it even starts "connecting..."! But after that, all it seems to do is let you view past history (which consists of Pam saying, "HI!" - hi, Pam!) - I don't seem able to type anything in and the "send" tab is grayed out. Looking forward to being able to use it...
