I keep hearing bells periodically. Is it an incoming message? Where do I go to get it or is this like those voices that tell me do do things that I am supposed to ignore?

To give you a good answer I would need more information. That said there are "sounds" that are associated with achieving certain levels of awareness. One of these sounds is the sound of bells ringing. This may be what you are experiencing.

It is part of the yogic tradition of the sounds that appear in meditation as you are meditating. Bells are one and sound of bees is another. There are a number of them and I don't really remember them all. It is not so important what they are as that they can occur and that it implies moving forward within meditation.

The Bells are from the computer. I first thought that it was a message from someone on this site but I can't find the source. They go off frequently and are annnoying. I know of the other bells and buzzes in meditation. They are the sounds of the chakras. The tinkling bells are the 6th chakra and the easiest to hear. You haave to block your ears to elimenate othe sounds. It is an advanced meditation tecknique.

If you're in the chat room a bell chimes each time a person posts something. This bell can be turned off. If that's not it, then I don't know what it is.

Being me, I hear a train...
I hear the whistle, I hear the rhythm of the tracks, the movement of the locomotive as it splits the air. There are no trains nearby, nothing that could duplicate this. In addition, I am growing deaf, yet still I hear it, even when working on a client. I have learned to work in rhythm with the sound, but it is a bit discomforting. Anybody have an explanation? You have all mentioned nice, good sounds that wouldn't bother me at all, but a train? Hello? zeneagle "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all" Love ya fambly |
