I need to know what people are charging for their QT sessions. Also about how long do these sessions last. Also while giving a treatment do we really keep breathing so loudly - isn't that distracting to the person receiving the treatment ? I am a Reiki master- and the work I do has always been very quiet lasting about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. a session. I am concerned that my breathing will be annoying for the client. Hi Seawitch,
I'm a Reiki master too. I switch back and forth between Reiki and QT in sessions and tell people ahead of time that QT involves funny breathing. They don't seem to mind. In fact they seem to like how QT feels. Besides, you don't really have to huff and puff all that loudly, and if you have some beautiful music going, and maybe give the client earphones, they won't even hear you. Cheers, J. PS: charge the same as for a Reiki session. |

QTinTO's reply made a very good point, which is what I've been finding - if you just clearly and matter-of-factly explain how you work, generally speaking, people accept that you know what you're doing and they'll go along.
Also - If someone has gotten very relaxed and I feel the need to do a fire breath, I warn them beforehand, as the sudden sound can startle them. (I warn them about that ahead of time as well - i.e., that occasionally I might breathe quickly and loudly for a half-minute or so to increase the amount of energy.) |
