Hi All;

There was a mention several weeks ago about "stickies", posts that stay at the top of the forum for needed info. I know most forum software has this feature and think it is an excellent idea.

Some of the stickies ideas are...

- forum rules and netiquette
- how to... avatar pic, posting a pic in a reply, and many other topics that are normally handled in a FAQ or help file (which I have yet to find here)
- a FAQ (frequently asked questions)
- schedule for group chats

and other info that has enough long term relevance to stay at the top.

Another suggestion is to have a chat "history" (some way to save the chat text). I was told tonight that it used to have a history, but was turned off. I think that is sad because there are times when things are shared in the group that we want to keep, but are so involved in the moment of it, that we can't stop and copy/paste. Sad and frustrating.

Last thing - it would be nice to be able to have attachments in PM's.

Can we add one more since we are manifesting? Can we have a chat time dedicated specifically for healing, similar to a daily prayer group from 9:00-10:00, but a daily healing group?

I don't know Cris. I found each time I was in there, that it was more chat then healing, which I think is just as important to connect with one another.

So I'm just putting a suggestion out there, that we keep chats, and include an hour solely dedicated for healing. Just a thought

I have been thinking about this a lot since the first post.....

Here are a few thoughts.... We know when 'chat time' is. We could set a time, as convenient as possible for our global community, to set a healing circle/chat. 9:00-10:00 as Mhari suggested would be good....Then we could post the healing circle and times somewhere - in the healing forum or questions forum or both. In order to keep the "rules" or intent of the healing circle current we would have to post to it frequently to keep it near the top so the intent did not drop away. This is a "work around" since we can't seem to find a way to post the intent of a group within chat - the forums have some guidelines but not chat.

Then - as we figure out who wants to participate, we might want to set a calendar so there is a designated 'leader' for the day/week/ month -- whatever. That leader could lead a healing meditation/visualization. By changing 'leaders' (for lack of a better word - maybe facilitator?) it would provide different perpectives, and not put the entire responsibility on any one person. But - there would be a commitment for the leader/facilitator to be there and kind of coordinate the healing meditation. Maybe the first 10 minutes would be open to place special requests in the circle before we begin.

It would be nice to have a separate chat room, though. So if we choose to be in chat and it was time for the healing circle we could pop over to a different 'chat room' and those that wanted to continue chatting would be able to.

I love chat and I learn so much - different thoughts, ideas, to get to know the wonderful people in the fambly and most importantly to ask questions. I think it is a very important part of the QT experience. It is also important to me to have a focused time just for group energy and healing. They are two different things.

So these are my thoughts and they may be a starting place ... Let's hear other thoughts and ideas!!!!

And, as a PS, it is my undersatnding that the chats were originally for healing. Without a regular facilitator (volunteer -LOL) I think it evolved into chat. Ali and HerbalPurity would be able to comment on the history and evolution (I think). Their input would be very valuable.

I agree both chat and healing times are important.

I propose that healing circle begin an hour ahead of chat. (Because that would work better for me. )
