Between procrastination and being overwomped by the path to posting my photo, it will be a v, long time getting done. RG once said, "Yell for help!" and thats what I'm doing.

Heya, Hugs.... What specifically do you need help with? Do you have a photo on your PC ready to upload or is it not even at that point?

Thanks Tranie. Yes I have a good photo in two sizes.Think I oould do the upload ok but its a long path to that point and some of it I just don't understand! Maybe, I'll try again and tell you exactly where I stick.
I am nearly 80 and sometimes I have a bit of trouble with new fangeled gadgets like 'puters!

You can upload the photo in the personal profile area:

Go -> Personal Zone -> Profile -> View/Edit Complete Profile

There you can scroll down to the Avatar link and upload the JPG photo from your PC. I'd recommend uploading the smaller of the photos.

OK< I followed the path as you said down to Avatar. a lot of queer pics incl Alfred's tiger.
I wrote in the location of the photo and pressed "submit" and it vanished. Then I posted a reply to Healing Requests "My wife's back" and the photo location appeared as my location in the reply.
I got lost on the Avatar and didn't know what to submit!
Maybe I have a "thing" about Avatars!

It's strange, but I don't see the avatar, Huggie!

For the other photos, there's a link in the avatar window that lets you upload a "custom" avatar. That would be the photo from your PC that you were thinking of using.

I don't see a picture of Huggie either but I think I know where to find one on his computer.

i am still tryin' to figure out how to get a picture up myself....lol,um,think i am just havin' a run of grey mush days! blessings to all!

Let me see if mine comes up - havong follwed Trane's instructions to the letter!!!! If it is the building blocks picture still somethings gone wrong!!!

Wendy, How the heck DID you do it cause I can't. I got 2 steps further today/ It asked for URL of custom avater. To me URL means address of a web site. I wrote in location of photo on my computer and it replied,
"The provide custom avatar URL appears not to be available."

Groupee excelled itself "Post now" appeared but didn't work. All the time, hassel and make guilty of restarting. Will it post now?

Huggie, On the page where it says "URL for your Custom Avatar" or "Upload Custom Avatar" , click the radio button for the latter. A "Browse" button will appear. Click that and you'll browse your computer for an image to upload. Good luck. I see your location is NZ rather than your "C" drive now. You're making progress.

I had a sort of feeling that I might have done it and that the trouble was Mozilla!
