I am fairly new to QT and have just recently started to try it out. My question is this, when you are trying to alleviate skin problems by running energy, do you have to go to the source of the problem or to where the end result exists. By this I mean that after much natural treatment, most practitioners feel that skin disorders are a direct result of bowel, liver toxicity. The person that I have been working on has psoriasis on the scalp. After 5 treatments it was 95% gone, on day six it returned with a vengeance and the person I was helping had it start on their ankles (new breakout). Is there such a thing as a healing crisis in QT as there is in homeopathy? Should I continue to focus the energy on the scalp or do I need to make some changes? Any input here would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Karate Mom,
Yes, there are some cases according to the QT book that do get worse before getting better. As far as where to treat your patient, I think if you treat where it is and just in case, treat the other areas you mentioned you should be in good shape. Richard is always talking about following your intuition and from what you've said it sounds like you are exactly right. I had someone work on my hand which had eczema on the back of it for about 15 minutes and it took the severity away. I was free of it from May until November and when it came back it's been very mild. I wish you the best and remember not to take too much responsibility because your field is providing the best possible environment for your patient and it is up to his/her body to respond appropriately.

P.S. If you get a chance, why not post this question on the general message board because I'm sure you'd get a lot more help besides me.
