Hi All,
I would like to join in Alain's new teleconference workshop on seeing & perceiving energy.
However, this is limited only to phone calls.
Since landlines phone calls form this part of globe would cost more than workshop itself, this is not an option to me.

Anyone, is it possible to phone from skype to land-line and succeed in joining teleconference?
If you have any experience about those kind of connections that I would highly appreciate any tip.

I made calls via Skype from my mobile phone and it works fine. Technically I don't see any difficulties with Skype. You can buy Skype credit to phone landlines. But have you searched on the net for cheap phone calls from Croatia to the U.S.A.

In the U.S., you can use Skype to call any phone in the U.S. and Canada by paying an annual fee of about $40 US. It only works in US & Canada, where calling is unlimited. It works very well, & if you use a headset, you get binaural sound (stereo) over the phone. It's so much better than one-ear phone audio.

I don't know how Skype works in Croatia....very sorry. I can SKYPE my friends all over the world via computer, of course, but calling regular phones only works in US & Canada. I hope you can find out a way to do this, Jelena.

I'd love to do it too, but money is an issue at the moment, so sadly, I will miss this one.

Skype in Croatia only recently added that option for calling landlines.
I have never before attended any teleclass via phone, so all those instructions are something like trying to read hieroglyphs - I guess I'll have to give it a try, and pray.

Another option is to buy a MagicJack for $39.95 USD. You'd get a USA number and be able to call anyone in the USA and Canada for $39.95 for the whole year. The second year it costs $19.95 USD. I don't know if the folks at www.magicjack.com would ship internationally. MagicJack can be used in any country where you have a fast cable connection to the internet with some exceptions. Some countries block the port that Magic Jack uses like Korea - due to nationalized phone service and the government doesn't want anyone cutting into their profits. Satellite service doesn't work for MagicJack.
