Hi fambly, this will probably have to be my last post for a while, as it took me over twenty minutes to log in, then I got bounced out again after typing NinG's dog link.
What is going on?
Shall I take this one personally?
I just plain give up, this board is too difficult to use with any accuracy, and makes it damned near impossible to follow up on a case/story that I really care about.
Please, lemme know when the board is able to function fully again, as I really value the people, the information, all that I have learned here.
I will try at other times to get in, but I don't think I will make it and I don't know why!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to miss all of you so very much.
You are a large part of my life...a very caring and cared for part of it.

Okay, explanation for the above:

1. I apologize, once again.

2. as I typed out the whine above, I HAD spent the time trying to get in here.

3. One last factor that may help explain the whine above: The kitchen was on fire. I didnt know it till I couldn't see the blasted screen when I looked for it. I goofed. Big Time.

Richard, I aplogize to you.

All of you who are seers, please check out the kitchen fire. It happened at the same time. Got both birds out, but couldn't leave the carport as a very windy front was coming through. (this means the wind could have picked them up and flown them elsewhere off my shoulders.) When I am an ass, I really do it well. Again, I am still having trouble getting on and STAYING there, but so are many others.

Aside from being totally nuts, I think the smoke hit me before I could even know it. I can't smell something that is going to send me skittering into the asylum again.

Bigtime apologies to all of you. Please, you seers, check out what I am saying.

Symbols are very individual. When looking at something, such as the fire, ask yourself "What does this mean to me?" Usually the very first answer, sometimes coming before the question is finished in your head, is the accurate one. Hope this helps.

As for staying on the site. I would look into a more reliable service. It seems the server may be the problem. Some of us never have any problem getting bounced. I have a high speed internet connection, which may not be available where you are living, but have not been bounced off the message board, yet. The other thing is that this may also be a sign for you to possibly cut down on your time on the message board, not leave it completely, but spend a little less time there. I don't know how much time you do spend, but you might want to see how that resonates.

I Don't know what you are suggesting, as a fire is a fire is a fire??

Sorry, I am simply waiting for the message board to be magically repaired. Since Richard and Jennifer are in the midst of a gigantic move, that period of waiting is simply going to be longer than I want it to be!!! BUT, I am also going to post what I feel, as many others are also doing.
Apparently, my resonating resource is not entrained correctly?As yet?

Dear Zeneagle,

I too had much trouble navigating and/or staying "on" and "able" on this board. But I also had even greater troubles with many net connections as the same time. Our system had been hacked royally unknown to us until my BIL came to clean it up. Unfortunately our tower also was doing poorly and we have no DSL here. In fact when it rains or snow melts to any degree, we get bumped off AOL or cannot get on in the first place.

We upgraded to another system and things greatly improved...but precipitation still causes troubles with our phone line connection. !

Don't feel badly...I have often resorted to wrong conclusions when having troubles with the computer...I once fixed my spastic, old printer by giving it a big, two-fisted blow! I was just short of disconnecting it and tossing it in our creek! !

Remain calm...this is just a test...should it be a real emergency, you will be instructed as to your nearest civil defense shelter!

I truly hope all your problems work out as I really enjoy reading all of your posts. You are what we would call in Edinburgh "a character" which by the way is in no way an insult but a compliment. You're so original and honest and passionate about everything, that is like a breath of fresh air, really. I can almost feel your frustration, all the way over here in London. Take care and breath deeply. That's not QT, that's just good old fashioned advice.
