Oh Cris, I have pictures of where I live now. It's so incredibley beautiful and I have pictures, but I haven't been able to get them on here to share them. That's why I was so dumbfounded that I did it with the avatar.
Well, if I did it once...
I'll get it sooner or later.

in the blue boxes above the msg box where u reply theres a thing that looks like hills... its right next to the envelope thats where you put ur pictures... but it works on url basis... which means put your pics on the net somewhere... there are quite a few profile places that u can create to upload pictures in... from there get the url and click the picture box will add a html code with the url in there... and that is how you add pictures

OK, that's cool. And I was able to get them on a URL, but I guess because it was on my own something-or-other, my computer was warning me against posting it on the net, I guess because it might give folks access to my personal stuff, not sure.
But how do I find one of those safe places? I don't want to get one where people have to get a password, but one where I can put the pix up or at least one click away.

are 3 of the top profile places where u can put photos on.

myspace and photobucket u have a choice whether to put it on public display or private. the public option means that everyone can see it, private means that another person has to log on and so forth... in myspace u can set several sections to put on public or on private... ie.. u might want private on your blog (journal) and public with the pictures...

my own profile is totally public, so anyone can go browsing, but there is also not the option of private at all. my profile is on one of the smaller profile thingies at vampirefreaks.com

it could have been warning you because the pic was still on your computer, it needs to be uploaded into the web in usually a profile thingie so that people can access it.
