Q-TIP |
undo the feature that automatically puts you into the message board from the QT home page? Is that clear as mud, or did I actually say what I meant to?
Right now I have it set so that I don't have to enter my name, password or such and I want to go back to requiring that because Rick can't register with it set up like this. Gratzi for your help. Hugs, Christina |

If you're using an icon on your desktop, or a link, to get to Quantum Touch, it sounds like you have it set to go directly to the Message Board. Try going to the QT Home Page by typing in the address -- in your browser-- www.quantumtouch.com and then re-set that as the link on your desktop. I'm not aware of any command or function on the QT home page that goes automatically to the Message board.
I hope this helps. Good luck. Ali Practitioner and Instructor http://healinghandsminnesota.com Turn your face to the sun -- The shadows fall behind. |

Dang, I didn't know anyone was going to start speaking computerese to me! Wish I understood more of what you said!
I don't have an icon or link. I put the Qt web site address in the bar up above and when the home page comes up, I click on message board. Because I picked that option a while back, it goes directly to the board without putting in my name or passcode. You know, it asked me once...do you want this to remember those things and I said yes. Now I don't know how to make it forget or undo it. Hugs, Christina |

One way to deal with this short of calling and asking Jennifer directly is to have Rick open the website with a different browser and he can then be the new user. Otherwise another way would be to log on to the computer as a different user. Now, this is the computerease wording but it depends what kind of computer you have, apple or ibm and what kind of operating system you are using. On my computer, an ibm style using windows xp you can have the computer ask which user is present and you click on that user and then each of you can have different "favorites" that are saved unique to each of you. These kind of questions can be researched and explained through the help files or online places like msn.com. I am sure the same abilities are present for the apple system, I simply haven't used it myself.
