Since I can remember, I've always been involved in massge therapy.. even at a very young age. My family and my relatives would always ask for me to give them a massage and I've always complied. As it turns out, I'm very good with my hands and I've always had that healing touch that made pains go away. Until recently, I found out about Quantum Touch. It was my father who told me about it and ordered the book and the video tapes. I looked at it and I was excited about it because I was getting into medical massge and I decided not to go do it because I felt Q-T was the best thing so far. Anyway, on with my question, a friend of mine had a sinus headache and I asked if I could help and she allowed me to touch her face and I did the tripod close to the bridge of her nose and then above her brow and I used the 4-4 breath. In about 5-10 minutes, she felt no pain and was amazed. She said he felt different and I was extactic since she was the first person I preformed Q-T on.

Last week, my family and I are going to lunch and my brother had this horrible headache so I asked him to perform Q-T on him and he let me. After 5 minutes I asked him how he felt and if t he headache went away and he said no, that I made the headache increase and I was disappointed by that. Did I do something wrong?

Thanks for the help

You have done nothing wrong at all. Sometimes symptoms temporarily get worse as the healing is taking place. Here are two suggestions for such a situation: First, let the person know that the session is not over and continue working. The second option is to ask how the person is doing in 15 or 30 minutes, and you will probably have found out that the headache cleared up. The fact that symptoms change quickly under your hands means that you are doing something. Since symptoms do not always change in a straight line in the direction you want them to, you just need to be patient and understand the process.
