Hello... I just noticed my picture has been deleted. Just wondering if someone else can do that or is this a glitch in the system?
I am not really good at computers and I am not even sure how I got my picture on there the first time. I guess I would rather have nothing than what is appearing now. How do I make it so this space is empty.

Ok... I just heard from Karen on another post that she can see my normal picture as it was originally. I still see the words Tinypics and that the picture as been moved or deleted. Does anyone else see the Tinypics logo?

Ok again... I just posted the above paragraph on and as soon as I did my picture reappeared. I guess I am golden for now. How strange!?!

Yep, I see the tinypics logo Brenda. You don't think some program on computers can pick it up and some can't? I have an Apple. And I use to be able to see your picture.

OK, now ya'll have me wondering! I know Jana's picture has changed twice recently, and Anton's has changed, and I think Jaybean's has! Have they maybe been changed because they disappeared, and a new one was put up? I had just assumed they had changed because they wanted to! Or is there some sort of picture black hole that is sucking the pictures up???

Hard to tell what is going on... I was shocked when it wasn't there though. I knew I hadn't done anything to it. I do not have an Apple.

My guess is that those that are still getting the "tinypics" logo are ones that are using a browser that does not flush the buffer very often. If you "refresh" your browser, you tell it to ignore what is in the buffer, and just show you what it looks like currently. This should solve the problem.

As to why your picture disappeared in the first place, maybe the picture host had a temporary glitch and wasn't serving the pics just then. Nothing to worry about.

While on the subject of pics and avatars though, I do have a comment to make. Maybe it's just me, but I have noticed that the people that have pictures as avatars... I seem to connect better/stronger to them, than those without. For instance, on this thread the pictures of Brenda and Molinda. The avatar pics of Jana and Ashley were also commented on here, and I feel a very strong connection to them as well. Maybe I'm the different one, but just thought I would throw that out for comment.
