I am a beginner to QT. I have about 20 hours practice and have attended the basic course. My hours have been mainly on people but quite a bit on horses to good affect. At the moment I am giving treatments to a german shepherd dog 'Jerry' who has had an operation for a slipped disc. Since the op 6 months ago he cannot walk on his back legs. He has made some progress with the healing but we seem to have come to a stand still. I am breathing and sweeping visualising vortexing. Any help or suggestions would be great or if anyone could send some healing to him that would be fab.

Lou, I don't have much to offer on this but have you tried using the fire breath to raise the vibrations another level?

It may also be that he has taken in all the energy that he can for now and that his body needs to adjust before healing can continue?

Thanks, yes I have tried using the firebreath and it did clear some blockages. I have tried healing on 2 occassions and have booked him in again for Thurs giving him three days rest since the last session. I was wondering if he had sustained nerve damage would QT be able to repair it as I have a sense that has happened. i so desparately want to help him as he is so alert and alive. He cuddles me after each session with his head and paw.

I don't have any direct experience either, but i'm working on a very difficult case (human!) and have found a little progress since I've been using some different imagery, and calling on the power of Love to bring the situation to a satifactory conclusion; it's not so much what I'm thinking as what I'm feeling that seems to make the difference here! I think when things aren't moving we can get tense and try too hard, rather than staying relaxed and positive. I also find it helps to have a kind of ongoing diaglogue with my higher self/the other person's higher self, and ask to be shown what to do as and when it's necessary.

good luck!

Hello Lou,

From my own recent and still raw experience, you are trying too hard. The animals body can't heal as quickly as anyone would want it to do, slow down, let your dog set the pace. He will do so, and will assimilate as he is able at his own growth/pace.

Your key word here is DESPERATE.

Let go and allow. I hadda learn it the hard way, too. Gina Rockefeller, Alan Rock's lovely, TOUGH wife, hadda take me apart and put me together before I GOT IT!

Plus the entire board rallied 'round me, giving me hope and letting me fall on my face (needed this) with a great deal of love. THANK YOU ALL!

Now, back to knowing it all!<~ joke! I hope!

Look up the Honker series of posts by me and many others. It can be found under Zeneagle: When you read any of them, front to back, you will realize that YES nerve damage, neural pathway damage can repair itself, and does. Honker is not as he once was, but he is very much alive, has opnions, (guite loudly) many other traits have also returned. He was at one point thought to be better off dead. Honker didn't think that at all.

We agreed, Honker and I, that he was right. Your dog can also heal. I helped Honker by using my heart space to heal from. The energy ran clear and clean allowing his body to use it where needed. The larger the animal, the larger the heart space. Sending the green color of love helps, I think, immensely.

Get out of your own way, is the way I got it. I also think it to be quite painfully accurate, for me, and for anyone else who needs to hear it. Kinda scrapes on the ears, but...

With lots of love and healing, (the former professional victim/martyr)-zeneagle

Thanks so very much! I AM going to get there, if only I could remember WHY I wanna get there!

Thanks for all of the energy work you did on me. You have a very distinct Vibratory feel, almost a signature.

Have you noticed it before this?

Thank you for your help and suggestions. I had a feeling I was trying to hard. I've always had a tendancy to want to run before walking. Think also I was wanting to show my friend, whose dog it is, and her family that QT really works. My own doubts in myself come in aswell as I dont always feel much but I can visualie well.

Thank you for what you said. Yesterday I had another session with Jerry and it was the first time I felt real tingling in my hands and a number of his vertbrea clicked. It was such a gentle loving session with him being more settled. After the session he kept his legs under him and even tried lifting himself up on his worst leg. It was only momentarily but such an improvement. I can't thank you enough.

Love and healing

Lou,
I am so glad you are learning quickly. You are not the healer, as you know, but the healing energy runs through you.
Jerry, the dog you are working with, can be spoken to gently, allowed to know that HE is the healer, you are the hose, the leaky faucet, as it were. Tell him while working on him, not to try to get up as yet, as his leg does need time to use the energy to heal. I am gettin g a hip dysplasia in addition to the bad back...Have no idea if I am correct, but DO know that condition is quite painful.
Cheers to you, Lou.
Keep on keeping on, as some wise pereson on this board told me.

Lou, I have had much success working on animals especially large dogs. Late last fall my daughter's beautiful German Shepard was hit by a car - it was bad. The dog went into shock immediately. She called me to come over to see if I could help the dog. We took her to the first vet - there they hooked her up to several bags of fluid took a number of x-rays and then told us they could not do anything else for her -They called ahead to another vet that was almost two hours away from where we were. The dog needed to be brought into their emergency care unit and placed in ICU. At this point her lungs had collasped, she had two broken bones in two legs and had head trauma as well. Also there was fluid building up inside her chest cavity. While my daughter drove I got in back and started running energy to her. I kept talking to her as well. When we arrived at the second emergeny vet - they told us point blank that from the other vets report to them they did not think the dog would survive the ride. More X- rays were taken. The vet told us that one of her lungs had been fully inflated and that another one was half inflated !!!!! They still did not think she would make it through the night. We were asked about putting her down. I had that point told them that we owed the dog at least a 24 hr. window - and that it was my feeling if she could hang on and pull herseld through the night - she would have a chance . I was allowed to go out back into there ICU with the dog. I kept running energy while they put her to sleep so the could pulled in place another bone that had popped out of place. Needless to say the dog made a FULL recovery. She had to have two operations and was in casts - but she made it. Today - you would never know this dog came so close to death. I do believe with everything within me - that giving the dog energy and talking to her all the way down to Portland that night kept her here with us. She did spend several days at the emergency care vets in Portland. I would encourage anyone working with pets to keep on keeping on. Keep running energy, talking, and yes allow time for the healing to take place.

I realy appreciate your response, it has given me courage to keep going and keep trying. I must admit I haven't talked much during the sessions with Jerry so I shall try that on Thurs. Thank you for your support.

What a wonderful and uplifting story! I know that the last episode w/ Bitty, my Chihuahus, was really very serious, but w/ my QT friends (Zen, Riosy, Pny gal and others) helping me to run energy, he made a miraculous and full recovery.
