For new folks on the message board, I am re-posting the time(s) of day when the General Quantum Touch chat Room is active. On most days, we try to meet in the chat room at 10 a.m. Central U.S. Time Zone, and again at 9 p.m. Central.

The chat rooms are provided by QT as a forum for live discussion, social chat, and at various times, some short meditations and distant healing sessions are done. Most are impromptu, depending on who is present and what is needed. We have laughed and cried and done QT sessions together, and have become very good friends.

Everyone is welcome at chat. There are three rooms, and all are open & available 24/7, and these gathering times were chosen some years ago because they offered the greatest convenience to the greatest number of participants.

We normally meet in the General QT Room. The other two rooms are also there for anyone to use....one being labeled for meditations and the other is Off Topic. To reach Chat, hit GO on the message board, & from the drop-down menu, choose Chat Rooms. You will be asked to sign in...very quick and easy!

To date, people from 21 nations around the world have participated in QT chat. It is a community of like-minded people, may I say, even a "Fambly." There is no "boss" or moderator of the chat, and everyone is welcome. What you see is what you get! Wear comfy clothes and join us!

I remember a sunday, a couple of years back when we had peolple from 13 counties on chat room!

The "chat" seems to ebb and flow and from time to time almost no one shows up. Others come in later, so sometimes it appears it is not happening anymore. Other times it is flowing with us like-minded folks... so if you come on time and no one is there, please try again!

Hi to you chat room visitors...is the exchange immediate as it might be with say "instant messenger" ? If so, i'm in.

The exchange is better than instant messenger because many people are chatting in the same window -- a group 'instant message.'

I just tried getting into the chat room to connect again with all the lovelies here and I couldn't get it to load. Has anyone else had this problem?

Well, I tried the chat room using Firefox and it worked but no one is there. Darn. I really needed a pick-me-up...

Various people at various times have had some trouble getting into chat...but I have not. I wonder if there is something incompatible with certain browsers, or if servers in diverse locations have a temporary glitch. Everybody's signal arrives at Groupee via a different route. Or maintainence? People in certain countries across the world have had a higher incidence of problems getting in, too. The ways of the internet are so whimsical at times.

There were people in the chat room from 9 pm Central time this evening until 9:45, so I know it was working during that time. We do try to meet at 9 Central in the evenings...I always wait at least a half hour and then leave if nobody has arrived. If you arrive "fashionably late," you may miss.

We will love to see you. Please, keep trying! The morning hour is at 10 am Central time. Hang in...Everybody is Fambly...bring your coffee and come on in!

For the past week or two when I've tried to get onto chat, I get the page: blue background, figure of person turning around. Then it says done (bottom left) but there is no list on the right that says the names of participants, nor is there the option of what color ink to use.
This is in the "General QT Chat Room" BTW.

Chrissy, I wish I knew what to give you as an answer. A few people have told me the same thing during the past week, mostly from the East Coast part of the U.S., but I personally have had no problem at any time.

I suspect there may be a Groupee server issue, but how can you tell?? Let the QT Office know. They have contact with the Groupee folks, who are probably the only ones who can track it down.

You've probably already tried this, but look to make sure you are logged in on both the QT site AND the groupee/chat site. If you're logged in on the groupee page, you'l; see the Welcome! (and your screen name) greeting on the upper right of the page. If you are not logged in, it will say "Welcome Guest."
