There's a little blue cube in the middle of the page that turns the color of the page from white to blue and back.
How do I get INTO the chat room???????

Hit the go button, drop down three to chat room, click on chat room and it opens up.

But that's what I'm saying.
I click go, then chat room, and a white page appears with a little blue cube in the middle. The top of the cupbe has four small protruding thingies like those plastic blocks and two of the sides of the cube have question marks.
When I click on the cube all it does is change the white to blue and back.
I just would like to get into the chat room.
Any suggestions?

hello Christina,
When you wish to go to the chat room:
click on MESSAGE BOARD
when you reach MESSAGE BOARD, sign in.
slide mouse to extreme left, hit GO
GO will drop a menu of four selections
click on the bottom selection.
That will open CHAT ROOM box, and other boxes.
clck on the one box that says CHAT ROOM.
your screen will show a small room with a turning figure in it.
When you have seen the figure stop turning, you are in the chat room.

A list of the people who are in the chat room appears on the right side of the rooms' screen.

In order to join the conversation go to the bottom of the rooms' screen to find a smiley face and a long channel that will allow you to talk too.

On the right side of the long channel, you will see SEND. After typing into the channel what you want to say, hit the SEND button.

I think I have covered the various movements needed to get there.

Anyone who knows more, please add tothis post so we can have all our fambly there.

Ha! The universe is keeping me from chatting. Nothing else could.

Christina, it sounds like you are encountering a firewall in your system. Do you have any kind of protective firewall installed? It could be part of anti-spyware software or some such. The chat room is working just fine. Check with the Help Desk at your ISP and see if they know of a firewall that is stopping your access. I wish I could be more helpful. Everything above is correct, and we would love to see you in the chat! Be sure you are signed in on the QT site.

Ali was right. Some time ago we wanted to get away from Internet Explorer (reason not important) altho we kept it on our desk top. We installed Safari (no, we don't have a MAC) and it must have been a firewall or some such thing.
I had no problem getting into chat when I went back to IE.

Hi, Christina.

It sounds to me as though you did not have the Flash plug-in properly installed for Safari. Next time you fire up Safari, try heading over to http://www.flash.com/ and downloading/installing the latest version of Flash for that browser. That just might let you have your Safari and chat, too.

Flash has a new update out. Flash and firewalls at work have been my only barrier in getting into chat.
