Hi everyone

I have just installed our new computer and with my husband being away and me computer challenged am struggling with some applications. It has Windows Vista Office installed and it does not open up the chat room for me!!! I click on it and it has a blank screen and a litle coloured square in top left hand corner of it?

What else do I need to do? Please help.

Sounds like the problem some have when Java needs to be updated. I don't know how to do that. I just keep poking buttons 'til stuff works; I've not broken anything too badly yet.

Wendy I am not familiar with Vista...but could it be that you just need to re-log in on the message board? Then you can have your computer remember you at this login, & you would be back in business. Just a thought, and I hope it turns out to be something as simple as that! We'll be looking for you!

thanks ali and Chris - can't seem to get it right, When hubby comes back I'll get him to fiddle around. Have relogged in to no avail. Not sure about the Java script or what it is even!! Sorry - missed your link to Java script before I edited this message!!

Oh Wow

Discovered how to do it. All I had to do was click on the white screen to activate the little figure. Can't remember whether i right clicked or left clicked but I opened it up. Unfortunately everyone had left chat already!!!
