Is anyone else having trouble following threads or is it me ?
When I read a post and then want to follow up reading the replies (in order they are posted) Ive been looking to the date the posts were made - but they seem to be all over the place!! I tried clicking 'next' but it seemed to bring up the next post made regardless of which topic and thread it was.
Lemme know if Im missing something here DUH

Yes, it is a bit confusing. The messages are in reverse order, with the oldest ones at the bottom. BUT if someone replies to a particular message, their reply goes below it, slightly indented. Then if someone else also replies to that same message, it is again below the original, but above the first reply. UNLESS they reply to the reply, then they are under it, again indented. So.... I usually read from the bottom up, starting with the least indented and following with any replies to each. Unless I'm in a hurry or too lazy, then I just try to make sense of it as I go or when I'm done. You can also look at the dates and times of posting of each message on the right. Hope this helps!

You might want to try setting your display preferences to flat mode. Then you just open the thread and you get all the posts to that subject in order.



1) to get there click on "My Home" (towards top of page)

2) then under "Display Preferences" (towards bottom of page ) click on "Edit"

3) in the middle of that page find "Default display mode", change it to "Flat"

4) I also like the "Collapsed" setting right under the display mode

5) click on the "Submit" button



play with the settings - if you don't like it just set it back

I usually read the initial post and then if I'm interested in reading the rest click on the 'flat' button which is there on the right above the post - then they're displayed in order.

Thanks everyone ... i was having the same problem. FLAT is the solution. Didn't even know what that button was for. I'm enjoying more now.
