My QT instructor and mentor, Pat Stone in Brandon, FL, recently went in for sinus surgery. They found cancer. She'll be starting radiation or chemotherapy soon. Please send healing energy for the next weeks or months. Pat hosts a monthly Healing Circle. It's been cancelled for this month but she's agreed for some of us practitioners to go to her home and do a session with her. We'll be there tomorrow, Monday, May 14 at 6:30 pm EST for probably an hour. If you can, please also send during that time. Pat agreed that I post this to the board so I thank you on her behalf.

Thank you Ali and to the rest of you who are sending. Our healing circle tonight for Pat was awesome. There were several of us there, including her husband, Tony. We shared shared for a bit first then worked on Pat for an hour. It was a wonderful experience. We left the house full of loving and healing energy. Pat looks fantastic, feels fantastic, and is confident her healing is complete.

An interesting thing happened to me during the session. I was in an uncomfortable position too long. I moved. The woman next to me smiled and put her hand on my back -- on my stiff muscle -- and left it there. I was thinking she should be putting it back on Pat since that's who we were there for. I looked at the woman -- her hands were on Pat -- but I also felt her hand on my stiff muscle -- hot as can be -- until my muscle loosened up. Ha! I LOVE THIS STUFF!!

Keep the energy coming. Pat's doctor decided to check one more thing after telling her that her condition was inoperable. Pat has an MRI tomorrow and will know results on Wednesday. We're believing the cancer has shrunk or disappeared.

Here's an update from Pat:

"I'm tentatively scheduled for a 7-9 hour surgery at the end of this month or first of July. Meanwhile, I'm continuing to hold that I am healthy and whole, and envisioning myself already healthy. I'm so grateful for the distant and hands-on healing I've been receiving from folks, and appreciate their prayers as well.

I'm feeling well, and I know it's the energy work and prayers and love that are supporting me.

Pat's having surgury tomorrow morning. This is what I learned last night:

"Dear QT Friends,

My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am, Monday, July 2, at Tampa General Hospital. I'm told it will last 6-9 hours, then I'll be in the ICU for at least 24 hours, and in the hospital a total of 5-7 days. I'm so grateful to all of you for your loving support, and would ask you to please continue with prayers and distant healing during the coming week, as well as this weekend as I prepare for the surgery.

I feel that I am in the best of medical hands and that all has been divinely orchestrated. My connection with just the right people is amazing.Your prayers and healing support are working in miraculous ways to manifest healing for me on many levels, and I feel so grateful. My neurosurgeon is said to be one of the best in the country, if not the world, according to everyone I've spoken with. And the surgeon who will be doing the sinus part of the surgery is also wonderful. Dr. Sheela Chokshi, whom many of you know, is the Integrative Medicine Director at Tampa General, and she and her new assistant, Kimberly Gray, R.N., have been so kind --- Kimberly will be doing Healing Touch on me in the recovery room!

Our daughter will be emailing occasional updates to our family and friends while I'm in the hospital, and I've asked her to include the QT core group in her mailings, as several folks have asked about getting updates.....

Thank you so much for your loving support, prayers, and distant healing. I can't tell you how much it means to me and my family, and what a difference it is making in my healing process. Thank you again, Karen, Molinda, and all you silent senders. Here's the latest from Pat's daughter:

"Good morning, everyone. We are thankful for some great news! This morning at about 5:30 mom has opened her eyes and is in the transition to a full awakened state. She is still really groggy, but we ask regularly if she is comfortable and she nods yes. We ask regularly if she is in any pain, and she nods no. So everything is moving along better than normal after a surgery of this magnitude. Everyone including mom is doing great! Although she is and has been breathing fully on her own since yesterday morning, she is getting some help keeping her airway clear with a tube that goes into her mouth. We believe that this will be removed today upon her becoming more alert so she can cough as needed. She will continue this journey with the excellent staff in the Neuro ICU.

I will update again at this next significant milestone.
