Hi this is my first time posting to this forum and website. I am a person who try to remain positive at all times. I have always been a healer. I have always cared about people more then i care about myself. Now the healer needs healing. I have negitive energy surrounding me and i can not get rid of it. I can pin point the year that it happen because my whole life changed. I have no idea where it came from. I am circled around energy vampires at work and in my family.I have even tried moving but i am circle around the same kind of people I tried to get help but the peron just tried to take my money. If anyone has any advise I am all ears. Please help me

It is said that we attract what we think about. Changes need to come from within, not the physical world or other people - so if you move to a new place you are taking your vibe with you and attracting the same thing back into your life. There are great books on how to change the energy of your thinking - A New Earth (Eckhart Tolle) - also there is a free webseries for this at Oprah.com. There are lots of books on the Law of Attraction - also Check out YouTube on the Law of Attraction - Search Abraham-Hicks or Esther Hicks.

No one can help you except you, just like no one can heal you except you. Nothing outside of you, no other person can change you. Books and video show you the way and give you ideas but the effort must come from within to make the change.

You CAN get rid of 'negative' energy by maintaining your own high vibration.

Take care of yourself first. YOU ARE WORTH IT. Treat yourself as you would your own best friend. If you're not healthy and whole, you aren't able to help others as well as you might otherwise.

Moving doesn't usually help unless it enables you to make some other changes within yourself. I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Everywhere you go -- there you are." You'll continue to attract those energy vampires until YOU CHANGE YOU.

Thank so much for posting a response to my email. You are both right I know it has to be something I am doing. I am ready to make the change for the better; I just needed a little direction. It is funny i know how to help others but when it comes to myself I am lost. Think you guys are rightt i think I entertain and invite energy in my life. I don’t stop to think is it positive or negative. I have a habit of feeling sorry for a person, try to help them and they bit me. Instead of protecting myself i go back to get bitten again. I now realize i do that. I am a clairsentient. So I am picking up energies all day long. If i just look at a person I read and feel their energy from across the room. I cant no stop at just looking at it. So I maturely invite it in and then vampire attacks. I hope I am making sense to someone. I don’t know what everyone beliefs are on this website. My spirit comes in peace and I am just looking for direction. I will start with the website Cris. Jana you very direct and honest i respect that. I have heard of the book The law of attraction and I will order it. Thank you again.

The Hicks book about the Law of Attraction is called "Ask And It Is Given." It sounds like it's about prayer but it is not. Hope this helps.

I know where you are coming from because I am an empath and I have to be careful to not let others suck my energy. I have been trying to clear my energy the last month and keep from giving my energy away or letting others take it.

I am finding that I have to come from another place, to be an observer, more detached without giving my energy away or letting others in, but I can still be compassionate and caring, just coming from a different place.

AlsoI am setting my intention every day to only let in that which serves my highest good. You can pull in your energy field and make sure you have set boundaries around it, and not be too open. I set a boundary rose everyday and violet light around myself

I was working on someone at Core 2 a few weeks ago and I told the instructor it felt like he was pushing me away and the instructor told me I was in his energy field that it came way out. He admitted to being an empath plus he was an out there kind of person. He had a huge field. He admitted to solar plexus issues from being an empath. If you are way out there it is easy to clutter your field with other people's stuff too! It is about boundaries.

Thank you Karen, I think this may be one of the main issues. I am wide open. I have a gift but I was never taught how to control it. Some times at work a person could be talking about a work related issue. She is talking to me and I am reading and talking to her spirit about a whole different issue. Then she leaves uplifted and I am drained. You mentioned building boundaries. How do I do that? How do I bring my energy force in so that I am not attracting everyone else’s? What you are saying makes a lot of sense. Since I didn't know what I was doing I use to say I just care too much about people, but how does a person care too much. You are right I just need to learn how to care without little consume me. Let's be honest someone people throw their energy on your and have the worst intention. Bad energy like envy, insecurities and anger. I watched the videos on Hick's websites ( thanks Cris) They were very good and gave me a starting ground. I will order the books. I mediated and visited my spiritual guides and asked for their help. I know that it's not going to happen over night but I am going to start today. I want to thank you guys for your support and understanding. I am also meeting with a lady that does energy work on Wednesday. I will let everyone know how my first session goes.
