Hello fambly

Karen, I told Julie about the orbs you sent.

Todd was ok to start with; surgery went well and all seemed to be progressing nicely. But he has had some adverse reaction to the various pain meds (which did not go well together) and has been suffering. Julie has fought his battles with his surgeon who has not exactly been supportive, shall we say.

This of course has worsened Julie's own exhaustion and pain. She is hanging in there, but the pain has been worse than she expected.

Thank you so much for continuing to send....I know Julie appreciates it from the bottom of her gigantic heart.

Jo, Thanks for the update on Todd and Julie. I will be so glad when they are through this part. For all of them (Julie, Todd, & Shadow) to have surgical procedures in such a short period of time must have been so terribly stressful. And you are right about her gigantic heart.

OhMiGosh, I had no idea it was so long since I had updated this for Julie! Oops!

Julie is much the same...but hanging in there like the trooper she is...she and Todd were due to meet with the surgeon today to check on Todd's progress and to iron out some communication issues.

I have not heard yet how that has gone - after a day like that it is likely that Julie will be in too much pain to type.

Julie will have had to drive today which means she has to reduce her meds so that she is safe at the wheel. This can lead to her experiencing horrific pain levels.

But as always, Julie perseveres....keeps going...tries to keep smiling and healing! She misses the forum and the fambly and is continually grateful for all healing sent to her and to Todd!

Hi folks - a brief update:

Julie remains in a significant degree of pain - unexpectedly, the pain is now the worst it has been since Julie had the surgery. She has altered her meds due to the side-effects of the first med, but the new meds have side-effects too, including brain fog.

Typing is even harder than before...her left hand is worse, as is her left shoulder, which suffered trauma during the surgery.

Julie remains unbelievably positive - but never expected these problems to continue for so long, or indeed to require your healing energy and love for such a sustained length of time. I know she feels she has asked too much of you already.

Todd is doing well, has returned to work recently and generally is heading in the right direction.

Please, if you can continue to send, I would be very grateful.
