My 88 year old father in law, Richard Sr., is back in the hospital. He went to emergency with chest pains yesterday. Since they were planning on scheduling him for the second round angioplasty (stents) this week, they kept him. His has two blockages that are about 80% that they will stent.

Our problem here is that his kidney function is poor and he is diabetic. They need to balance and stabilize his kidney function before they do the angioplasty becasue the dye used will tax his kidneys, and they need more than last time because there are two blockages instead of the one...

I would appreciate any love and energy anyone can spare, for his Highest Good and for a positive outcome.

It appears that he only faces a 20% chance of kidney failure so they may do - probably will do - the procedure tomorrow (Wednesday) As usual with the medical community- detials are sorely lacking. I will update as I know anything for sure.....

TIME WAS BEEN CHANGED to about 6pm PST, then changed back - I just got the call and he is on his way to surgery. (12:30pm) It should take about 2 hrs. I will update this evening if I have any news.

The procedure went EXTREMELY well - nurse commented about that several times. All is well, stents are in, renal function is not good but adequate for the circumstances.
