Well, we saw the othopedist today - he immediately saw the fracture and was annoyed that so much time had passed before her referral (2weeks) She is now in a cast to her knee. As he was poking her foot and moving it, she nearly turned green. Very uncomfortable and was woozy - upset tummy, and shoulders out of whack because of the crutches. I have expanded my work on her to include her upper body alignment, muscles and general overall improvement. even though it is the foot, it seems the entire body is involved, including emotions. 4 weeks in the cast, then they see if surgery will be necessary. Please keep her on your list, for perfect healing, no arthritis and no surgery! Thank you to all!

Another update... Since the cast was too tight, they had to cut it and then wrap it with an ace bandage for the next week - until the swelling goes down. She will get a new cast on Halloween. I'm losing faith in the doctors.... All I want is to be sure that the bone heals correctly, no pins are needed and she has NO lifelong problems since feet are so important. Her hands and wrists are hurting from bearing her weight on the crutches. I did a pretty long session on her wrists and it helped. She is getting a temporary handicap parking placard so she doesn't have to crutch the length of the parking lot to get to work.

Her dad and I will be out of town next week, so I would appreciate continued energy being offered.

Wow, Alfred - that's amazing!!!! She does have a cat of her own that keeps her company when her partner is at work (he has a different work schedule) I had 2 cats -- lost one at age 19 about 2 years ago. My remaining kitty is 23 and just plain old.
