The acupuncture pathway of the Bladder Meridian goes from the inner corners of the eyes, up over the top of the head, down the back and legs, and right past the outer ankles on the way to the little toes. The energy between the pelvis and feet was stiff and unmoving, but finally something rushed through. Hope she's better soon.
Meanwhile, she might try just holding the index finger in the palm of the other hand whenever she's sitting still. Homeopathic Cantharis is nice for many kinds of bladder infections.

I'm taking her to a specialist for a second opinion tomorrow - She has had two cortisone shots in the foor, on in the top, one in the bottom. (eeeeeweee) At this point they are thinking nerve damage. I don't know what to think so I will update tomorrow...This is getting old - she has been on disability since November. It happened October 1. She is frustrated and so am I!!! QT is good for pain control but I can't get her to sit still long enough to do a 'for real' session! Distant helps - she is aware of it. So please keep sending - more later....

Aww Jana,

Will keep offering energy and love to her. That has been a long time! My son had numb toes and I worked on them a lot. He went away and the energy kept working and eventually he got the feeling back in his toes. I think nerves take awhile but it will get there. You got us fambly offering support.

Thanks for asking... As you know, the injury happened October 1. She made very little healing progress over the time from then to now. Boyfriend's family wanted her to see their foot specialist (BF Dad suffered a foot crushing injury). That Doc said sort of the same thing her Doc was saying only he wouldn't even consider surgery at this point. So we felt a little better about the situation. Went back to the orignal Dr. and that visit was awful... He babbled on about fibromyalgia not being a real disease (I beg your pardon!!) which has nothing to do with a foot injury anyway. And where did THAT come from?? Then implied it mught be psychological. Told her no physical therapy until after her bone scan. And then he released her to work without discussing it with us at all - even wrote it up for the wrong foot. Then wouldn't talk to her when she wanted to question it.

So, she went to our wonderful family physician. He said no way she should have been in a walking boot for 4 months and probably just needs some physical therapy. Referred her to a med school buddy who is into the sports medicine thing - great reputation. He is the 3rd opinion. So we saw him Monday, had the bone scan Tuesday. Next Appt will be the 20th. She will also be starting physical therapy as soon as workers comp approves it. SO - I still have nothing concrete to report.

This latest Dr. mentioned the possibility of RSD (Yucky possibility!). The interesting thing is that this latest Doc could see no evidence of a break at all in the newest x-rays. Brianne thinks it was becasue of all the QT! I am thinking/manifesting that her muscles and tendons just hurt after being immobilized for 4 months and that therapy and QT will return her to 100%.

So - as you can see, we are FINALLY getting close to some answers and REAL help. But nothing specific yet. When she starts physical therapy I'm sure I will be stepping up her energy work to make sure the muscles/tendons/ligaments are flexible. Soreness will be better than pain, for sure.

OK - update - funny this has become just a part (annoying) of d aily life...

The bone scan reveraled nothing, (YAY) not even evidence of a break (but I saw the crack in the first x-rays!) The general thinking is that she should never been in the walking boot for 4 months and had her foot immobilized for so long. It appears the bone(s) are fine. This may be nerve and tendon damage. She has been released for work, full duties but only half days for about a month. Her foot kills her after 4 hours. Her Doctor doesn't know why she is still having pain - there is no apparent reason for it.

The Dr. ordered physical therapy February 3rd but Workers Comp just approved it so she starts next Wednesday. That will be huge - having someone work the muscles back to where they should be. But - it is likely to hurt when those muscles and nerves start waking up so I am anticipating the need for some QT calming and soothing starting Wednesday. I will let you all know how she does.

I'm also hoping to get copies of the x-rays....

Glad Brianne can now finally get the physical therapy she needs. Too bad it had to take so long. Offering her healing energy for getting ready for the physical therapy and during for her highest good. what a long haul this has been to recovery. May it be swifter now.

Wow! This has been a lengthy "ordeal," for sure. I am sorry it had become so "muddies up" by errors made by a doc.

I am glad she seems to have a good plan now with a reasonable medical opinion backing up the plan!

Brianne is very lucky to have you helping to look out for her welfare. So happy you knew so much better than some info. you were being told by a particular doctor. Having believed that would have been disastrous for Brianne. I really celebrate the fact that you have lot so knowledge, common sense and a general sense of "knowing."

Amazing account regarding the "break" now being undetectable!
