I talked with Tim's wife yesterday. He suddenly shaved off the mustache he grew in the Middle East. After that he seemed to be less tense. He even smiled!!!! Something is helping. Thank you all. Your the greatest

Wonderful wondeful - a shift occurring - new perceptions and a release of some sort. I will continue to send all weekend but won't be posting as I am away from tomorrow morning early until Sunday evening (Africa time). Will have plenty of time in the bush amongst the animals to concentrate on distance healing - it'll be special energy from a special place far from civilisation, giraffes and elephants and other wild creatures. he will remain in my thoughts.

Please keep posting so others can keep track of your son's progress.

Wish I were going with you. I would love to be close to the animals in the bush. My husband and I watch Animal Planet and the African animals all the time! That indeed is spcial energy and should be very healing to all. Did you every get my home email to send?

It angers me how our babies are sent to war and kicked to the curb when their usefulness is complete. There needs to be some sort of assistance for these brave men and women before they come home and after.

I alerted a friend, who is one of our silent angles. This individual specializes in PTSD.

Boy! How my heart aches for our soldiers and their loved ones. Before saying anything, I want to make clear that those sending distant energy healing to Tim is a wonderful and very needed work. I was very pleased to read that he shaved off his mustache. This is a very positive sign that he is trying to recapture his former self and identity. Unfortunately as long as he is actively involved in the military individualization is not an option as their goal is to mold everyone into being an Alpha Dog! This in itself may be a very powerful intent to send.... that Tim be reminded that we are each unique and with a life purpose of our own. It is the loss of this trait that causes much of the symptoms of PTSD. As far as helping with the direct psychological effects of war... and treatment modalities....this will have to remain in the hands of the military as long as he is active. They know the inside outs to the deep seeded and root cause. Many of these tags are caused by things civilians would find as a breech against their own moral codes. That is not to say that Tim was active or involved in anything but may have had great exposure with. There is a military code that is enforced, "What happens in Iraq stays in Iraq." So trying to talk to loved ones regarding their military experiences may be applying additional (tremendous) pressure and adding to the conflict. For him to be able to talk would be allowed only with military professionals, example a Chaplain. If Tim is either suicidal or making threats to harm family members the spouse must report this to his command. This is often avoided due to fear of causing a military soldier professional problems within their career. It's a tough choice for all involved. Yet it becomes a question as to what is more important to the individual and the family unit as a whole. Most military personel are locked into "the now" and loose their future goal atainments. They forget that their military life is a phase---unless they make it a life career. That's another entire subject. There is hope! Because of the military failure in treating ptsd sucessfully, they have called in civilians to work with them in creating more sucessful modalities. Namely, hypnosis and EFT.
Sorry this post is soooo long, but felt it was necessary to provide some insight. The subject matter is very complicated.

Many times I am asked what loved ones can do to help their PTSD loved one. The following story stands out as a historical account as to the power of one man and how he changed the course of war.
During WWII, when Germany invaded Norway, they transported 15,000 Jews to Oslo and placed them in concentration camps. Before long Norwegian professionals were being added to the camp. The death toll inside and out of the camps was horrendous.
A Norwegian sculptor, Gustauv Vigeland, was outraged by what was going on and began to silently protest in a unique way. In his shabby garb he would go to bombing sites and collect items from the rubble such as clay, and scraps of metal and construct?
From the scourge of war, the German’s thought he had gone mad. It wasn’t until after Vigeland finished his “tinkering” that it became apparent as to what he was doing. He made bronze statues capturing precious moments of life. Some of the themes were of an elderly man playing chess with a child. Others were of children dancing, flying a kite, or chasing a butterfly. The facial expressions were so lifelike that people were compelled to be near the statues and engage in whatever action they portrayed. Passerby’s would laugh, finish a sneeze, or break out crying. So intricate were the statues that some of the German soldiers began to sneak him metal and copper---which was a very needed commodity for making bullets.

On a larger scale, historically the Norse, at first neutral, became very active in fighting against the German’s by becoming instigators in the Merchant Marines, Flying Dutchman, and smuggling their knowledge of the properties of U25 out of Norway and to USA. It was the accumulation of these things that brought the war to an end. Could it have been because of one man’s gardens and his influence in endorsing life that millions of lives were spared? Yes! Regardless of any situation, the intent and love of even one can and does change the world.
By the end of Vigeland’s life he had created over two hundred statues, but what had he really done? Within the rubbles of war and death he found a way to embrace life and offer healing as evidence by every person who walks through his garden and breaks out with spontaneous laughter and joy.

This Spring with the arrival of new life, I will be creating my own garden with the same intent as Vigeland. Name, “Tim’s Garden.” May a healing come to each soldier and those affected by the scourge of war as evident by the simple beauty of a garden in spreading hope, peace and joy. I hope many more join me in this endeavor of creating their own “Tim’s Garden”` and posting a picture! For those who don't have the opportunity to make a garden maybe they would like to visit a garden and dedicate its beauty by posting a picture.

Thank you so much for this story. It was wonderful all the more for the unexpected memories it brought back for me watching the UTUBE video . My husband and I walked through that garden many many years ago when we were on our travels around Europe. We thought it was wonderful then. I loved seeing it again.

Your idea of a garden dedicated to healing the soldiers is wonderful and I have a special place in my garden that I am going to dedicate to this end as well. I am naming it Tim's garden, firstly for Susz's Tim and secondly for my own Tim who will be leaving us in about 2 weeks time to live in the UK for 5 years in order to study and become a professional soccer coach. As he is only 20 this is a big step for him as you can imagine.

Thank you for your support and may your garden be as beautiful as your loving nature. Being a mom, I know how hard it is to see our children grow up and begin their own unique journey.
Today when I went to the mailbox, I noticed for the first time in many months glorious sunshine and "Spring"? LOL. My mailbox had 3 flower catalogs in it. All were from companies I never heard of. What an unexpected surprise and gift. It must be an affirmation from the universe that my own "Tim's Garden" is to be started. Gloves, boots, shovel in hand....let it begin. Please send pictures of your own garden to share.
