Mahri, I talked with my daughter and all she could tell was that Paul is taking 8x a day "power food" with his food. Power food comes in a little bottle with all sort of ingredients. They are giving him this because he loosing a lot of weight.

Might know more soon.

Hi All,

Yesterday my daughter told me that Paul is having a rough time. His stomach is very bloated but despite everything Paul is still working.

The doctors have given him a medicne for infections in his body I think primarily in his stomach, intestines. As of these medinine he is getting a lot of infections on/in his leggs now and the doctors warned him that if his reaction to this drug is so severe they expect him to have much more trouble once they start him on chemo(they still have not yet).
With this disease there is already so much fear and adding to that some more I just cannot understand doctors saying this in that way.

Expecting worse for the future has made Paul and his wife Renate even more fearful.

Please help them. Would be ever so grateful.

Pinky I've had Paul and his family on my 24/7 list since 11/2/07 and they'll remain there until he no longer needs the work. I wonder why they have waited so long to put him on chemo.... but I've been following your thread. Can you give us the children's names? This must be very hard for them to understand and accept.
