It's weird. My right knee is swollen and feels rather stiff, and occasionally causes me some pain. I haven't been exercising (matter of fact, I've been spending too much time being lazy), I haven't injured myself at all, but it's doing this thing. I had water on the knee two years ago, and my fabulous Ayurvedic doctor told me what to do (it went away in two days!), so just in case that's what it is, I'm going to do that same treatment tonight.

In the meantime - could you send me some energy? Just to recap, it's my right knee. (My right knee, by the way, has a history of injuries.)

The swelling has gone down; I can walk without limping. I took off the elastic bandage last night, because it was bothering me (not to mention the fact that it was causing my lower leg and foot to swell). It feels a lot better, but if you can send me a few more days of energy, that'd be great!

By the way, this is the Ayurvedic remedy I used:

Bend the knee as far as possible and rub with Ayur ghee.

Apply a heated pack of sea salt, turmeric, and camphor (poured into a cloth and tied; I steamed it over water in my slow-cooker to heat it). Apply all over the affected area until the heat dissipates.

Reheat the pack.

Meanwhile, bend the knee a little more and rub it with ghee again.

Repeat the process.

It really works! I don't know the proportions of salt, turmeric, and camphor, unfortunately - I think there's more salt in it that anything.
