I'm putting out a request for healing for a horse. Jovi lives in the stall next to my horse. Yesterday in a freak accident he broke four of his front teeth which they are saying will have to be removed. He is going up to the vet in Corvallis at OR State University today. He is a very sweet Russian Trakehner chestnut gelding.

Jody,

I had a session with Jovi. At the time there was only one tooth missing, but they could be still doing surgery on the others. How painful!

Question: How can a horse eat grass, hay, alfalfa or feed in the pasture or stall with his four teeth missing?

Blessings

I would think grass would be hard because he has to bite it off with his teeth. Everything else would work because he can "lip" it in, and then chew with his molars. I don't know if they give horses false teeth!

Update on Jovi--Good news! He didn't have to go up to OSU and will probably get to keep his teeth. He's home at his owner's farm recovering. Thanks for sending, and let's keep it up for a quick and full recovery!

Jody,

Good news about Jovi

Question: I'm still seeing that one tooth is shorter than the other, is that going to be a problem?

I've never worked on horses teeth before so this sending was a little interesting

Do horses have three chakras?

Thank you for answering all my questions ahead of time. Blessings and love

P.s. Can't wait to see you in April for our core class

I talked to Jovi's owner today. She said Jovi's upper teeth are fractured. The vet recommended just leaving them as is, and they'll probably fall out in a couple of years. They ground his lower teeth down a little so they won't press on the upper teeth. They're giving him antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds. Initially his jaw was all out of alignment but that has improved (a little help from QT?....) Everyone is very pleased with his progress so far. I told her I had posted this healing request, and she appreciates all that is sent.

I don't pay much attention to chakras. Alain says when he looks, the head, tail, and heart areas seem big; there are probably more but they're not very developed.
