I had a text about 20 min ago from Liz at Heathrow Airport (London) - she says 'So far, so good'. They should get to Scotland by noon GMT (7am EST.)

I've had problems with my mobile phone battery lately and it won't charge....so I am out of the loop at the moment!

Mhari, thank you for your PM - and to those of you who have been supporting Liz and I in the background for some time now - you know who you are - may your love and generosity be returned to you a hundredfold. You mean so much to me.

No more news yet...my mobile is still broken but I hope that Liz might text my Mum who can then email me when she gets home from work...maybe...!

I have made an Orb for Elizabeth, named Alexandra, and she has 2 of mine on loan too. Every little helps, right?

OK - another update - Elizabeth goes in for SURGERY at 5.30pm GMT, that's in 15 minutes' time.

Liz says that the issue is a PERFORATED BOWEL, and infection is (or has been) spreading. If they can sort it surgically, she will probably be ok; if not, then ...?

She is heavily sedated but Liz says she does not look frail. I sense she is fighting hard. She had a CT scan earlier. (Sorry, already forgetting bits of the conversation!!)

Martin is remaining positive; Danny is planning for the worst. Liz is trying to raise the vibration (she is very, very new to QT!) so that only positive energy reaches Elizabeth.

Anything you can do ("work your magic" as Liz says), please do it now!!!!!!!

Mum sent me an email late last night, after I had gone to bed.
Elizabeth got through the operation ok and is back in ICU; they will see what the Doc says today.
I hope to be able to update once I am home from work, if there are any more emails for me - that won't be until at least 3.30pm BST.

Latest update!

They are slowly taking Elizabeth off the vent. Her Blood Pressure is better. She said they may never know the cause of the infection.

Liz says Elizabeth was twitching at their voices earlier. Liz and Martin and Danny are going back tonight.

That's all I have but - I think - this is sounding better? I know we are making a difference!!!

Another update!

Elizabeth is looking a better colour, they have taken her off sedation and she is slowly starting to come round. They want/hope to take the vent out soon but she has to start breathing on her own first.

Liz is very grateful for all your love and hard work. She may return to the US early next week if Elizabeth continues to improve. All are really pleased at the progress being made. 'The boys' are holding up well.

Liz has lost part of one of her back teeth! She didn't say whether it hurts or not but with all this energy flowing, I'm sure it could feel a whole lot worse than it does right now!

I have amended this post as I have just checked the 3 texts Liz sent earlier, to make sure I got the info right - my phone is now fading again so I was concerned I'd lose the info on it (Yes, I'm getting a new one.)

I am going to keep sending to Elizabeth for some considerable time, one reason being to keep her free from any infections and viri that may be circulating in the hospital.
