Hey all,

My dad is 80 years old and just got admitted last night. He's also had congestive heart failure for the last year. I've faced it, he's going to die one of these days, but I'm not ready yet!

I have a 5 hour drive ahead of me to get there, will you please run energy for him while I travel? I'll report back this evening after I've seen him with my own eyes and asses the situation.

His name is Richard and he's in Hermiston, Oregon. He's at Good Shepard Hospital. My mother's name is Emily and she's very worried, can you throw her some, too?

It's never easy to have a parent who's ill. You have my sympathies and sincere hopes for many more good years with both of them. I think we need to be able to accept and deal with what life hands us, but there's nothing wrong with hoping for the very best.

I just got a call from my mother and his condition has improved so much already, she doesn't think I need to come! What luck! I'm going to sit tight and join the circle with you guys today and put forth a positive expectation while giving up attachment to the outcome.

If anything changes, I'll let you know, but please keep my dad on your lists for a few more days.

You're wonderful miracle workers and I love you all very much!

My heart is with you, as my Dad has had two heart episodes (he has come through fine) and I know the stress of worrying about a parent is so very hard. My Dad is 81 and a tough guy, may your Dad have the same experience going through this. I have sent love and QT to your Dad that he heals well and to you that you are supported and lessened of worry. Dad had more x-rays this morning to see if there was any improvement and YES! there is! I've been focusing the energy on his lower lungs, that's where pneumonia hangs out, just behind the bottom of the rib cage. Plus the muscles in that area are very sore from all the coughing this week.

Please keep him on your lists for a few more days, I don't think he's ready to go yet.
