Our niece delivered twins boys today 4 lbs 6 ounces & 4l bs 3 ounces.The smaller one has had some difficulty & was operated on shortly after delivery.There were problems with the oesophagus.There are also problems where the stomach & bowel join so he now has a bag.If everyone could say a pray tonight that would be much appreciated.

Little Bobby continues to struggle but is trying to hang on with all he's got.He's become very anemic & is under going blood transfusions.We are thinking of possibly making a trip to Ohio to see both of the little guys.My husband has been asked to donate blood for Bobby since they are the same blood type.We were told it is better if someone in the family donates blood if the type matches.

It can be amazing how these little babies can fight back, my oldest daughter was 3lb when she was born 44yrs ago, they told me not to expect her to survive the night as she had severe breathing problems...........well she did make it & two months later was allowed home!
She is fine.

I will add these little ones to my list, also their mum dad & family, sending love & optimism to them...............

Here's the latest on little Bobbie & the news just isn't good.He has what they call Micro Spherocytosis.A blood condition seen in hemolytic jaundice in which small spherocytes predominate and red blood cells are smaller and more globular than normal.He is now having seizures.There is a dent spot on the brain with abnormal cells.He has a skull fracture.There may be brain damage .The nero surgen does not know yet.We are waiting for the results from a MRI.This poor little guy is in for the fight of his life.How depressing Sad Sad Please continue to pray for little Bobbie, but in the end God will make the right choice for him.

Here is todays update. Hopefully it will give you more to focus on.

Well the good news is the big feeding tube has been removed & now he is using a small one through the nose.He is taking in 3cc per hr up from 2cc per hr.His weight is up from 4lbs 3 oz to 4lbs 10 oz.Now the bad news Sad There are 2 skull fractures.We are finding out now it took 15 min to delivery him by C section.Could this be why there's skull fractures?On the back of his head there is something called hypo dense tissue & there is bleeding but the doc feels at this time not to operate.The front of the brain there is no activity.The worst case senerio is metal retardation,vision impairment or handicapped Sad although he is acting somewhat normal.Since he & his twin have the same DNA they will look at the progress from Tony & see if Bobbie acts the same.That's all for now.Thank you so much for all your support & continue to keep Bobbie in your prayers.
